I like the second one. I think it would look great on you. I've done the choppy look before. If you do decide to go choppy you'll want some pomade and some spray gel - I found that to be the easiest way to get the choppy look going right - a little pomade run though it on my hands while it was still slightly damp and then some spray gel and a lot of head shaking. Have you thought of maybe some lighter brown or even reddish highlights? Highlights go really well in choppy haircuts and can add visual depth to thin hair and help make it look fuller.

BTW - hubby says of those 2 he thinks the first would look best on you, but that he thinks you'd look really cute with a cut like Alice in Twilight or Daphne in Heroes.

Have you considered highlights?? I like both of the styles! Very cute! I agree with CLCSC145--ask your hair dresser's opinion. I recently got my hair cut & highlighted--I asked my hair dresser's opinion on everything. I told her what I had in mind and showed her a couple pics, but then I asked her if it would work with my shape of face..the thickness & texture of my hair...if it would make my face look fatter (lol)...I asked her opinion on the color of my highlights. Its the most I've ever discussed what I wanted with my hair dresser...and guess what--it's the most I've ever LOVED how my hair turned out!!

I haven't considered highlights but I have been thinking of going a lighter brown but I will be sure to discuss with the stylist everything and hopefully it'll all work out for the best. Thanks so much

I like the second one personally! And all of the layers will help with thinning hair for sure!

Good for you! It really, really helped to cut my hair. It looks so much thicker without the weight dragging it down, and aside from that, it felt so liberating to get rid of my long hair, which I was hanging onto, because for so long in my old, fatter life, it was the only thing I liked about my appearance, so it was devastating for me to lose so much of it as I lost weight. Cutting it shorter felt like a major step on the road to thinking of myself as a thin(ner) person.
