I was away from my computer for a few days and I appreciate you worrying and or thinking of me... but, I am glad to say that I was not/ am not one of the NYE people who say they want to change but fall off a few days later. I'm still working on losing and finding myself while I do it...
Even better I am meeting some really great people here!!!!

Default fe3eling sad

I think you should feel estactic, you lost 9 pounds and 8 inches.

don't worry about the casting call job thingy: ( If you know for sure they passed you over because of the weight, complain about discrimination,) companies can afford to have discrimination allegations thrown at them.

It's a casino and they can add stipulations in the contracts of their employees that as an applicant you may not know about. They are now hiring cocktail servers as models who serve drinks so they can have these stipulations... so, pretty hard to prove. They learned how to do that one after a cocktail server in New Jersey sued from being fired over weight gain. Hey, a week later and I'm thinking - their loss. The girl they hired was more concerned about being able to buy more clothes than taking care of customers. Plus, my ex works there. Bad idea to have to see him all the time I'm being positive !!!!

BTW, I got my signature tracker today!!!! i am so excited!!! was everyone else excited about getting theirs?

Hi Lorie,
I am new at this too, so do not feel alone. Some will answer and some won't, but that is okay, becasue when they do, it sure does make you feel good. Since I have been posting I got a few responses but one that really reached out to me and that one meant so much. Some will click better than others and grab on to those and hold on. All of the ladies are great and I as they want to welcome you and join with you in your quest as I am on the same path. Just think on day will all reach our goals. Everything is possible, so hold on tight, enjoy the ride. See you on the much thinner side.

To all of you ladies, Lorrie7, Kaebea and all the rest of you wonderful ladies, I have not been around for very long and I have had few responses, but the responses that I have recieved were blessings. Sometimes it just takes a little time so please do not give up, we are all striving for the same goals a more productive life, a better you and a better me. So don't feel crappy and do't feel all alone, I am here and will be. Especially, now that I have learned to track my postings. LOL Yes, I have lost a few. LOL I am trying to get on at least once a day, so if you write to me I will write back. I started at 359 and now 338 and will let you know of my progress to tomorrow night after my weigh in. Stay Strong and after having done all to Stand, then STAND. Let's keep it moving. Congrats on everyone's weight losses.

Hi Lorrie, I am a newby too and also just lost 9 lbs. I am down from 301 to 292. I decided to just weigh myself once a week instead of every morning. Hey I just realized we are close to getting in the 280's . I am looking foward to that.
Glad your here and I want to say welcome.

Annie

Hey the ladies,
Have not been back here since my last post and realized I had told you guys my great news. I went to weigh in last Thursday night and here is the progress TADAAAAAA!!!! I went from 338.4 down to 333.4 WoooooHa!!! I am so excited I can barely contain myself. Can you tell?

Annie,
Just left your thread, it was my first time posting there. It was great, and good idea I think to weigh once a week as not to get discouraged. What do you ladies think? I tell you those small steps do make a difference. Remember all of you, you are never alone, there is one who is always there and always cares.

Oh yeah, I got a 25lb charm (award) to put on my key chain. 10 more pounds will be my first 10%. Oh my, I hope it is okay for me to say all of this here, if not I apologize. I have not learned how to start a thread of my own for goals. I hope all of you get encouragement from this. We are in this together.

Aggie

I think certain headlines and topics bring more ppl out.But even if no one replys...sometimes it's good just to vent. Keep up the good work.
