It's been a crazy, busy day. I still haven't gotten the work stuff done I needed to do and I still have scouting stuff I wanted to do. And I will be on a work conference call at 9PM if the user in China is available. I hope he is because I can't easily meet tomorrow night. I guess I could at 10 but I would rather not do it after lots of other stuff.

I should have been out of work by now and I'm still here. Brian is with his Dad at gymnastics and I'll pick him up at 7 which gives me time to get him home and fed before I meet with the user and support groups. I need to try to get him ready for bed too since I might get stuck on the call until his bedtime.

I just found out today that I'm going to be attending a 7AM conference call starting next week for 3 weeks which means I will probably have to work from home. I hate that since I snack more when I am home. I need to make sure I have lots of healthy snacks. This has not been a good month weight-wise and my ticker is lying.

Hi chicks, I've been running around like a maniac all day. It has been snowing here, and my dad didn't want to risk not being able to get down his driveway (he's way up the side of a mountain), so he came to get the kids as soon as they got home from school. I was out all day and had planned to get them packed up this evening, so I had to rush helping them get all their stuff together, but now it's quiet here, and I've got the rest of the evening to get myself ready, which is nice. I have to get out of here at 4:30 tomorrow AM to catch a 7AM flight. Not sure how I let that happen!?
I popped out with some weird rash while in the car today. I kept noticing my bra was rubbing a sore spot, and when I got to work, somebody took a look at me and asked "what happened to you?" I've got it all over my chest and up my neck. I've been using a new lotion, and I hope that's all it is. AND that it's gone tomorrow, because I don't want to be traveling all day uncomfortable. Oh, I also had on a new sweater - cotton
I've got a delicious clean-out-the-refrigerator salad ready for dinner. Fortunately all the odds and ends go together pretty well - chicken salad, avocado, baby spinach, steamed green beans, and black olives. I'm looking forward to it!
You all have been extra chatty today, so I am not going to try and do personals.
I'll try to pop in from the hotel, but I don't think I'm going to take my laptop, so don't know if I'll be able to. Hope you chicks have a great few days!

Kara, I'll have to get back to you on that question. I've got one DVD with 5 workouts on it, but the kids have lost my remote control, so I can only start the first workout, and that's the only one I've done so far - the 18 minute one mile for sissies. It'll be a while yet before I'm doing 60 minutes of anything.

Schmoodle, your salad sounds pretty good! Do be careful out on the roads at that time of morning. It started snowing here around 3, and an hour later the roads were starting to get really slippery. Take it slow and easy, and have a safe trip. I hope you can check in, we'll miss you!

Another "hello" to everyone, this board has been busy today!

Kara: Also, I got the Walk-Slim Fast Start DVDs and I like to do the 4 Fast Miles one, which is 50 minutes long, followed by the Power Mile, which is 15 minutes long and includes light weights. (I use 3 lb dumbells in each hand).

Schmodle have a safe trip - we miss you already

I feel great tonight I guess it's the fact I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut offf - one of the contractors is done with his work so it's clean up & redo time.

Have a great night chicks!

Oh, Trader Joe's. So much fun! They had a pile - you know, the end of aisle piles - of blue agave nectar so I picked one up. Should be nice to try on some oatmeal or something. Speaking of oatmeal, I cooked some steel cut oats in the crockpot overnight and they were soooo good this morning! I ended up coming home from the store with a new tin of steel cut oats because I know we're going to go through the one I have now in a flash with this quick and easy prep! Just over $100 for seven bags of groceries, most of it organic stuff!!!
