Hi everyone, HAPPY FRIDAY
Seems I am the last one to get moving today. DH works nights and came home chatty at 3 in the morning... Finally made it back to bed about 6 and slept in till about 12. My 3 kiddies have been home all week (mardi gras vacation) so now that I am up and functioning I am taking them for a walk along the Bayou. I made a big batch of BBQ ribs (thank goodness I dont eat ribs cause they smell great) last night for tonights dinner so I can fix my weekend meals today.
DH has his first weekend off in 3 monthes so Sat. we are going to a Hornets game. I am determined to stay on track so I am also gonna check out some phase 1 snack recipes. Then church on sunday.

Hope everyone gets better quick. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I've been secondary oncall this week and so buy with work I haven't had much time to post. Tomorrow is the day for putting out the Scouting for Food bags on peoples doors so that will take a couple of hours. Hopefully I won't get paged during that but at least I will be close to home.

Hey, Ate Skinny Me!! Nice to see someone who is geographically close to me (and can relate to the gastronomical tempations that face us every day ala Frank Davis and the Thursday edition of the TP!) I live on the Northshore now (Tangi) but grew up in N.O. (family in N.O. since the early 1700's) Came here to go to SLU and never left. We try to get into town a couple of times a month though...it is still and forever will be home. Only got to catch one event for MG..went to Barkus and had a great time (ok, and hit Sucre on Magazine afterwards, but just got a tiny treat)
