Betty, Oscar and Sophie are littermates but you couldn't tell by looking at them. Oscar's legs are like 4 inches long and he's really thick. Sophie is your typical petite little weenie with the short stubby legs. We call them Moose and Squirrel. (Or Oskie-Bow-Wow and Sopherocious. Or Oscar Meyer Wiener Dog and Sophia Marie. Etc.)
But they are definitely a pack, and he's the Alpha and she's the submissive. They run side by side in the yard when going to bark at squirrels or bunnies, and they snuggle together still even though they're 4 years old (5 in December.... geez.) And she picks on him and tugs on his ears and drives him nuts, and he just looks at her and occasionally opens his mouth and shows his teeth and grumps at her. They give each other kisses and groom each other and they're so cute.
I think it's a good idea for Dash to have a shirt. I'm getting Oscar and Sophie shirts this Christmas. Only problem is, they think when they wear a shirt that they're going for a R-I-D-E in the C-A-R.
Weezle: Lisa, my Ranger thinks he is the Alpha, but we've got a yellow lab (Manitoba or Toby) that really is. You remember that cartoon with the big bulldog and the yappy little dog who would bark and then hide behind the bulldog. That's our babies. Such stinkers.
Ranger goes by Airphone (my nephew's first interpretation of his name), loser dog, and weinie. Toby goes by Tubers, Bobers, etc. Isn't it funny how we give our pets nicknames?

Jessie - glad you got a good night's sleep yesterday. I know it's not any of my business, but for any of you girls out there with irregular TOM's I can't recommend charting enough. Taking my temp in the morning was hard to remember at first, but eventually it became second nature. I did it between babies for BC (after having DD, taking the pill just made me crazy) and it was so enlightening seeing the changes throughout the month or months...as the case may be. It helped me learn a lot about my body and when we were ready for DS it helped take the guess work out of when would be a good time. I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility but I'm sure there are a lot of good references out there. *okay, stepping off my soap box now.....*

It is nice to know I am not the only one with irregular cycles. I feel like that is all I talk about lately. Lately I have been running 5 week cycles which is a week more than I usually am. I have been off BC since October and have been charting my cycles since February when we miscarried. I assumed the change in my cycles is due to that, but am beginning to wonder if maybe it's premenapause. I am only 38 but my mom started early as well. We are trying to conceive and it's been really hard to determine the right time to try. I have been taking the ovulation tests daily, but they never seemed to telling me anything. I don't really know about the temperature things and will have to look into that. It's definitely tough emotionally each month when TOM comes and our hopes of being pregnant get squashed.
Thanks for the recommended reading and for letting me rant.....
Hey LAdies
I have been On and off PH1 for 3 weeks its been a tough month. I'm trying not to make food my crutch! Its not really working. I decided that I'm leaving my job in december and while its a relief and the reason I get up in the morning its also nerve wracking and part of the reason I stare blankly into my pantry. Trying to figure out the future SCARY
2 things I'm really relating to that have been recurring in the thread TOM (sorry Kara) Issues and DH Issues. My TOM is controlled with Pills and while its better than it ever was I'm the sugar and salt queen and the Moodswing queen of the Universe.
DH wise he has a lot of Hobbies A LOT! I finally stood up to him and demanded he make time for me before hobbies and Friends. I'm also trying to find one of my things for us to do together. It's making me angry and aggressive! 3 years isn't that still the honeymoon phase? I'm sorry for the big unload and I don't normally post here a lot because I feel guilty for having half a foot off of the beach towel on most days sigh!
anyway Back to work
Kierie
Thanks for the ears
I can't believe how many of u came on after I left. I'm posting from my PS 3 but wanted to say a quick hi to everyone while I wait for my game to download .
HI EVERYONE!!!!!!
KO Don't feel bad. My DH is the same way. I think the problem is that most men have a hard time putting anyone but themselves first. So this weekend I'm doing what I want do and I'm leaving him with the kids. lol
Not yet, we just got the system this week. We took advantage of the price cut and got it for $489 without tax. I guess that's one goodthing about the military.
Hey girls! I'm so excited, down a pants size! I was at Old Navy trying on pants and I noticed all the 16s were a little big in the butt, so I grabbed a pair of 14 and PERFECT! A little bit tight in the stomach but high enough not to muffin! Yay! I did the happy butt dance in the changing room and promptly grabbed every size 14 in the store and tried them on! :P The scale hasn't moved a bit though... but I don't care!
The offer was for buying a blu ray player during the summer. Still on PS3 I can't send a link but I think you can google bluray summer promotion and find out whether you qualify. I found out about it through gamefaqs.
