Tammie........freezer jam is YUM! I make it with strawberries. The recipe is in the Certo package, or surejell package. It is the cheaters way to homemade jam or jelly. It actually has better flavor if you ask me......tastes more like the original berries. It involves no canning.....just mush berries, add sugar, add certo, and put into freezer friendly containers. It has to stay out at room temp for 24 hours, and then pop one in the fridge for immediate use, and the rest in the freezer. I make a lot at a time, especially during berry season. My kids are spoiled and don't even like store bought jelly anymore. It is not a healthy treat by any means, but it is a real hit with the kids and DH and any breakfast company.
