Hi all I tried doing phase 1 but was low blood sugary and dizzy and weak so I fell off of it. I'm going to try again but add more beans and things see if that helps.

Default Hello!

I just wanted to say hi! I'm restarting the diet after having gone astray for a while. I restarted Phase 1 on April 1st. My goal at this point is to lose 77 pounds. I have confidence that I can do it. I've lost 40 before on SBD, and it really didn't seem that hard! It was getting back on the diet once I went off that was the hardest part...but now I'm back and raring to go!

Day 2 and I'm still not feeling great. Hopefully that won't hurt my plan. I hate headaches. Off to get the baby up and fix breakfast.

AbbyLu, yep, he went to the Brewers game! We are going to the Brewer's Cubs game on Friday and trying to figure out what we can eat or if we need to stop and get something on the way! They are so fun aren't they? I will miss beer

Ohhh....darnit!!

Day 2..good job, it gets easier too!

I don't think I cooked my waffles long enough when I made them. They tasted eggy. Gonna try the Eggplant Lasagna for dinner tonight, finally. Also can someone tell me if field peas are aloud in Phase 1. I had some for dinner last night and went and looked at Ph 1 food list and don't see them listed anywhere. They didn't have any sugar on the nutrituion label. Also, I weighed this morning and I am almost back down to where I was when I slipped up. A 4 lb. loss in 1 day. WooHoo!! Although I know it was mostly water weight and it won't be healthy for me to keep this up for more than 2-4 weeks. I am feeling very motivated today however. Hope everyone is doing great and having a good day. Mine will be better as soon as I get rid of this headache.

Hi All. I started on Monday. I looovvvveee my chocolate. Now I seem to be paying the price. I don't miss the bread or pasta. Sweets are my downfall.
Any advice for me, I work nights 7-7, and have 2 small children at home during the day, my 3rd is in school. I know I should try for 3 meals, 2 snacks, dessert, but with my life I tend to be up for 18-20 hours a day, then I'm back to normal for a few days, and the cycle starts over again. This is my first try at on the South Beach Diet, and I don't want to fail.
Thanks

SexyMom3! Hmmm, with your schedule, it does present a challenge how to manage your diet. Do you sleep during the day? If so, I would have breakfast when you get up, and have lunch and supper during your breaks at work. In between, you can have your snacks. Just be sure to eat SB approved foods, and although we don't count calories in Phase 1, try not to go overboard. Does this help any?

I am going to try the peanut butter cup dessert tonight. It sounds yummy and I haven't had it yet. Also something without ricotta for a change.
