This just caught my eye, I'm stil laughing!

I would like to announce that I finally got to move my ticker for the first time in 2.5 weeks this morning!!! I fell off plan completely for 5 days after being sick (physically) and sick of the program (literally). I gained 7 pounds in those 5 days. I committed to strict phase 1 for a week and, since Wednesday, I'm down 8 lbs and finally 1 lb lower than my lowest. I struggle to say my period of frustration wasn't worth it. I learned a lot. I would be at goal now if it hadn't happened but that's just life. I start phase 2 next week. Yes, I have more to lose (15ish lbs?) but I'm going to Vegas July 21st and I want to be properly phased off. Phase 1 might be in my future those 2 weeks after I get home.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: this program is amazing if you follow it. I look forward to phasing out and enjoying Vegas but I also look forward to having the tools to get even farther in my journey. Happy Sunday!

Sounds heavenly!.. maybe after I reach goal... I know, that sounds kinda lame, but hey, I really do want to look my best when he sees me for the first time in 40+ years... I have this terrible fear of seeing a look of disappointment on his face, even though I've been warning him I don't have the body of that 21 year old he knew... he's seen pictures, but it's not the same as in person...

Love it too!.. trouble is, I haven't spent any money to make any man happy in many years... I'm not sure I'd know how... well, 'til now that is... with all you wonderful gals' wonderful ideas, I've now got a shopping list...


I thought it was pretty cute too... I ordered all 5 of the books I listed from amazon.com... I'll try to give y'all a review after I read each of them...

i went shopping with the boyfriend yesterday, and every pair of jeans that i bought were in a size 6. never in my life did i think i could be this small. i must admit, i am loving it!

My daughter and kids are flyng in to Dallas tomorrow morning. I last saw her in Feb, when I went to visit. I haven't told her anything except that I'm on this diet. I was in about 2 weeks in Feb.
hehehe I can't wait till she gets off the plane.

Well, I'm flying out VERY early tomorrow (5am!). Taking my daughter to PEI to celebrate her graduation from university. So looking forward to it. Here's to hoping I don't do too much damage with my eating. I still feel like I'm working on finding the right balance in my thinking about food. I think it will be good for me to be separated from my scale for a few days, though!

Good morning everyone. We went to the pool yesterday and, once again, I didn't feel terrible in a bathing suit. Hubby accidentally took some photos of me in my bathing suit, and I realize how much I still have to lose, but at the same time how far I have come.

I bought a new goal dress. I found it on 6pm.com (great bargains, run by zappos) and it's a size M Nicole Miller strappy black dress... Can't wait for it to arrive so that I have a new goal outfit to look forward to.

I don't have anything to report. I now weigh myself more than when I was in phase 1 as I try to figure out what makes me go up/down. I'm hovering a little higher right now but will see what happens over the next week. No need to panic.

My daughter got off the plane and she was very surprised, but not as surprised as I expected until she saw a picture that was taken last year that was just plain scary.
Today was a day of cheats. I had a protein drink for breakfast, a salad with grilled chicken for lunch with water, and then I had some gummy worms and about 6 cheeto's. The blackberries in my garden are ripe so I had some of those, and blueberries were 2.oo a qt. at Walmart. I guess in the scheme of things I didn't fall off too badly, and since I have 4 lbs. to go before my initial goal, I'm saying tough toenails. I already have my protein drink ready for tomorrow and my salad with chicken ready for lunch. I just need to behave at dinnertime. It's a lot harder when you have all this temptation around the house when you have company.
