Hi ALLI-CATS (awww--that's cute!)
NOT a good day. Didn't stay within any limits--calories or fat (sigh). Looking forward to starting fresh tomorrow. I bought this new tea. It is diet white tea with clementine orange flavoring. My sister-in-law (who should be a model

) clued me in. It is really good for you and tastes great.
Good luck tomorrow Thingirl. Glad the te's have come and gone. I have my water bottles all lined up. Great idea--thanks! I'll let you know how I do with the drinking thing.
Hi Umagirl--YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Please don't give up. You
deserve to be healthy. You
deserve to have the confidence and gorgeous wardrobe that come with shedding this fat cocoon we are all wearing. You
deserve to feel proud of yourself when you accomplish this task. It is huge--losing weight is hard, esp. when you are dealing with depression or other issues that throw you into a tailspin.
Enlist whatever help you need to make this happen for you. Make a list of ways you can deal with the lows when they hit instead of eating. Clean out the cupboards and take away your permission to travel when you know it will turn into a junk food run.

Add things that you love to your diet so you don't have a chance to crave things. Don't allow yourself to get hungry. I know it is hard--I deal with the same issues too. But it is worth whatever effort or time you have to throw at it to make it happen. My mom says that when you make this change, you should give yourself the best of everything. Buy the best, crispiest apples, those expensive baked chips, 100 calorie packs (ok--I will stop beating that horse!), really good sliced turkey for beautiful sandwiches. Instead of thinking of how you are depriving yourself, start thinking of this as giving yourself anly the best fuel to run on everyday--good, clean, high-quality, delicious, fresh food. And hey, if you plan for it, cheesecake can be on the menu. So can chocolate, esp. dark--it's like taking medicine these days! Most of all, quit beating yourself up. Would you treat someone else so shabbily if they were having a bad day, calling them names, making them feel worse? No--you'd give them a hug and point out all the wonderful things there are about them. So here's a hug.

You've lost a lot of weight already and it is just the beginning. You have friends here that will be with you every step of the way. Start fresh tomorrow and stop by to say hi. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!
Off the soap box. I feel like yelling TOWANDA today, like in Fried Green Tomatoes.

We are losing this weight, darn it!!!!! Who's with me?!?
(Gee, I wonder if the tea is decaffeinated?)
Good luck,
