I guess I'm weird, Mad, but I WANT to feel hunger. It tells me I did something right!
Last night I ate a mixture of carrots, broccoli, cauli, and Brussels sprouts. Today I had carrots, cauli, and lima beans.I love veggies. I know that most weight loss plans shy away from carrots and limas, but I think the nutrients and fiber out weigh the carbs. I did not get fat or get diabetes from eating too many vegetables. It happened because of too many sweets, snack foods and huge meals in general. I think my body likes what I'm feeding it!
I just tracked my food in MFP for lunch and dinner. The butter than I use to cook the eggs, on my toast and on my veggies really adds up on calories, and I am just as happy not using it. I like the taste of the spray butter on my eggs and have even used it on my toast a few times. I don't feel that I'm drained of energy. I don't know. We are all different, but I'm not sure I am going to use all that butter. I'm not losing, so something has to go.
One thing that makes me mad about MFP. I entered my lima beans, but there are about 20 different lima beans to choose from and they all have different calorie counts. I guess I could look on my package and see how many are in the ones I ate. They list just about every brand on the market. How could they be so different? Also, I don't measure, just eyeball, so MFP is never more than a guess for me.
Trish, I think Wellbutrin is pretty cheap, especially because they will give you generic unless you specify that you want brand. But it's ridiculous for you to spend $65 for her to write the prescription every month!! I would not do that. I guess no one works for nothing and they have to make their money somehow. Too bad your insurance doesn't pay for you to go there.
