Funny you should mention that Ani. Not long ago on a current affairs type show it was saying how LITTLE it costs to eat our fruit quota for as little as a dollar a day? UHU? Where the heck were they buying it? What quality? Maybe it cost a dollar in fuel to drive to tip to scavange?
Ok If at $5.00 a kilo for apples A plain boring everyday fruit and most apples weigh in around 200gm that is $1. an apple. now in my family at any one time there are at least 3 kids and 2 adults. (not to mention when all 7 kids are here) thats $5.00 for apples one each. we are supposed to eat 2 - 3 serves of fruit per day. Ok $5.00 times 3 = $15 per day. Thats $105 a week just for us to eat our healthy pyramid quota of 3 serves of boring old APPLES a day. and that at $5 a kilo when usually it is closer to $8.00 bloody ridiculopus I say. Hmmmmm. Then we have meat vege and dairy blah blah blah.
Ani I really can sympathise with the whole bidget thing and healthy living. Crap isnt it?

SEVENTY POINT ZERO ZERO
Grrrr. Tonight I'm heading up to the north island for a few days for work so won't be able to exercise while I'm there and will have to concentrate hard on my diet.
Unfortunately I've already gone way off track and I've only been in Wellington since last night. My sister got fish n chips for dinner so that's what I had and this morning's breakfast was a chicken, brie and cranberry roll which takes far more points than I would usually have in the mornings.
where is everyone? I'm feeling very lonely in here!
