10 lbs., 10 times - so smart. I went on this website when it first started and it was tiny and very easy to follow. I hope I get this into some sort of place where I can connect with other people. I'd love it if anyone reading this can tell me how to join a discussion group. My binge brain has taken over my life - it's like the only comfort I can get is to eat, but the problem is, it's starting to affect my health as well as my life in general. I have a daughter in college and am now living with and taking care of my disabled mother. It's a trap I can't get out of, but I must figure out how to have some hope and create some kind of life where I do not destroy myself. Thoughts?
  • Hi Lola....Well, I would say to first clean out your cabinets and pantry of all unhealthy foods, especially the comfort foods. When you go shopping, make a list and stick to it. Doing some research ahead of time has helped me a lot. Preparation to me is key...so if you can find a few minutes here and there to plan out your day, you are less likely to eat something else.

Just a few tidbits that have worked for me. I wish you well!
  • Lola!

Well I was right, TOM screwed me over. I'm back up to my starting weight. Boo-hoo. It's a new week and I've started it off right. Let's hope I finish it right. Lots of cardio and water aerobics today. Kinda sleepy now.
  • I'm 2 lbs. closer to my next 10 lbs. This morning was my weigh-in and to my surprise I've dropped another 2 lbs. Right now emotions are getting the best of me, but I am trying to keep things in tact. Have a great day ladies!
  • WTG Lady!
  • Hi everyone hope I can join in. I love the idea of 10 lbs 10 times! Someone mentioned in a different thread that "it's like losing a 10lb sack of potatoes"!! I'm totally up for that! Anyways I'm Debbie a SAHM of 4 and I'm 45. I'm going to start today. wish me luck!!!
  • 10 lbs 7.5 times seems soooo much smaller than 75 lbs. I mean, I'm already almost at my first ten. Then it's only 6.5 to go!!

    great idea. I'm in
  • Gah, the last month has been pretty busy. Did good my first week at weight watchers, lost 9.2.

Then started doing badly and kind of gave up (gained most back).

My boyfriend told me about a local challenge/weight loss and fitness competition, and I ended up signing up for that, which started April 21st.

Got back on the horse with Weight Watchers again. Last sunday weighed in at 178.4 - but my current weight on my scale says I've completed 10, but I really don't want to count my scale.

So, when I weigh in on Sunday, I'll update with my official weight and loss, and go from there.
  • Debbs (I love your Tinkerbell!) and KD4154!

    GREAT TO SEE YOU SPUNKER!!!!

I'm aiming for 10 lbs this month. Let's get this show on the road!

Today was so OP, I only got my water in. Measly 20 mins of exercise and a binge.

But hey, two weeks till I move into my place. You can't beat that!
  • Shari- We all have those days. Just brush yourself off and get back up and fight. Sound familiar?

I haven't exactly been on plan, I've eating things that I know are within my point total. Just haven't been diligent about keeping track of things.
