OMG - I've just had a 6 hour nap - some nap - and I still don't feel any better. I think I only woke up because I'm thirsty. I hate to say it but I think tonight is one of those nights when I'm going to eat exactly what I feel like eating - if anything at all.

It is SO hot! Poor dogs, they've been stuck indoors all day - I just let them out and they immediately went and lay down in their paddling pool.

Nice arms, Frus, did you feel a bit strange taking a camera in to the loo with you?

I went out running last night with my youngest son he was on his bike.
He did make me chuckle. He was shouting out in a kind of yank voice
" come on Forest come on" Great run though bumped into a friend
who hadn't seen me in a while who called me tiny. Blimey if they could
see my wodge of fat in my knickers they wouldn't call me tiny. Although
I have to say it has gone down alot. I came home drenched in sweat and
very very curly but I felt great.

I am out with the girls from work tomorrow for something to eat and a drink
so a run is needed .

I'm just getting something to eat before the weekly Friday night pilgramage to Tesco to stock up on healthy stuff. I've done my plan for the weekend, and almost considered sneaking some pizza in on Sunday (I'll have plenty of scope calorie wise because I'm planning to run 18 miles) until I realised it wouldn't go with the side dishes I already had planned so decided to do something healthier!

I'm in a good mood today though, I managed to get a suit in the Next sale (why is it that now I don't want them the only size they seem to have in loads of stuff is 18?), and it's a 10. I could get to like this

Nothing much planned for the weekend other than lots of running and lots of eating. I quite like the marathon training diet, it's basically eat as much as you feel like you need, and the more carbs the better. Obviously I still get a decent amount of protein, but the excess over what I'd eat if I wasn't running ends to be made up of extra carbs. I do like being able to grab those extra slices of toast when I feel like it

T-45 till I leave to get my lift to Bournemouth. It's raining there today they reckon and a lovely cool 21C, thank for that! Must leave this city heat!

I had a bowl of cereal last night and a couple of wholewheat digestives. I'm not feeling particularly well this morning. Damn you carbs!!! How am I going to manage the chinese and pizza fest that's promised this weekend? I'll just have to cope!

I've got my 8 miler out of the way, only 18 more to go tomorrow. It's still hot and sunny here, or at least it was when I was out running, it will no doubt do it's usual trick and go cooler now I've finished...

Not much planned for the rest of the day, I might get myself down to the running shop to get a new sports bra and possibly a camelbak and some gels, and I suspect there might be a new RW on its way (there are features from it on the website) so that's some reading for me. I really ought to do something with the garden too, but I have no idea where to start really!

But first, I need a shower to get rid of all the dripping that's currently going on...

I love Bournemouth I've had some cracking weekends there with the girls
in the past.

I have a period pain but at least maybe now my weight will move again. Oh to be in the nine's can feel them they are so close!!

I have to go shopping, do some washing. go to the Irish club with my father
to watch a gaelic footie match. Then as I said I am out tonight. Oh and I
have two weeks off work fantastic. We aren't going away but intend taking
the boys out to the seaside and out and about.

I didn't run last night as I didn't feel well. I felt very lightheaded and giddy.
They did my blood pressure earlier at work and it was fine.Today apart from a sore womb I feel much better.

Thanks for all your good wishes. I've lost my voice - DH thinks its wonderful. I wish I'd lost my appetite instead. Every time I'm ill I have this little voice inside my head that says you need to EAT LOTS to get better. Obviously something from childhood but I wish it'd go away!

Anyway - after all that sleep yesterday I woke up early (5am) and took the dogs for a long walk in the morning mist - it was lovely and cool - and it was just clearing as we got home. Possibly walking in a mist with some kind of mystery ailment wasn't such a great idea but I felt a bit better for it and I'll be able to rest easier knowing the dogs won't start bickering.

After all that effort with PN I only lost 1lb this week. Ah well, at least it wasn't a pound on.

I'm happy now, I went to the running shop to get my sports bra, and they're opening a new branch in the city centre, which means I can pop in any time I want rather than having to make a special trip out of town on Saturdays

I'm not sure my credit card will be quite as happy about it though!!!

It looks like it's getting cooler, thankfully. I'm having yet another quiet Saturday night in, these Sunday morning long runs play havoc with your social life! A bit of tv, maybe a dvd and then bed for me I think.

I've spent the day doing cleaning cardio!! LOL And for strength training I moved the fridge out and cleaned behind it! Oh what fun. Oh and for a bit of cross training, I bathed the cat!!! Is it really mean of me to think the sight of a wet cat is one of the funniest things in the world??? Or is it subjecting the cat to the hairdryer?? Alarmingly, I thought my cat was black, but it appears she is actually dark brown, unless the soap I used has bleached the poor thing.

I'm sick of the whole weight loss thing. It's really hard for me to get back into it, what with post holiday blues and it being so darned hot. I hate heat.

Thankfully it's raining here now. I never thought I'd be so happy to see rain.

Ouch. That didn't go according to plan. I got to 8 miles and was feeling fine, it was hot and sunny (again!) but I wasn't overheating too badly, and then something suddenly went in my hip and I had to stop running. I walked 3 miles back home and it seems to have walked off the pain a bit, but I decided not to finish off the rest of the run, although I'm going to try to have a decent walk this afternoon to loosen it up a bit more, I'll buy the paper and head down to the park to read it I think while it's still sunny. Anyway, while I was walking back I rejigged my training schedule for the next month or so to make sure that I have another attempt at 18 before moving up to 20.

Kylie - sounds like a good workout schedule to me - similar to the one I'm doing today

I am SO p'd off. The neighbours from **** decided to kick off at 1.30 this morning. Usual stuff - shouting, swearing, screaming, some slapping, a couple of punches - then there was this almightly great big crash and somehow one or other of them has managed to demolish the front garden wall that runs between their gate and our gate - with our gate still attached to it! (It is currently lying flat on the pavement along with the wall which is in bits.) It has also taken down about a third of the boundary wall between the gardens - all of which is laying in rubble all over my lovely garden!

I called the Police who took nearly an hour to show up by which time it had all gone quiet - the Police hammered on their door until they answered and, of course, once the Police had gone they kicked off all over again. Someone else called the Police that time - probably the old lady across the road who's husband is very ill.

Poor DH had to get up for work at 4.45. I'm beginning to get very depressed about all this. I spend HOURS with Mrs Chav sobbing on my shoulder about the awful time she has with Mr C so I found her a solicitor and someone to give her financial advice and she got an injunction to stop him coming to the house but she then invited him to come back to live there.

About 3.30 this morning DH and I decided that both Mr and Mrs C enjoy this volatile relationship and won't be permanently splitting up any time soon - so we are going to start looking around for another house - which is horrible because I love this house and the village - it is only the neighbours which spoil it.

Well I`ve just spent the last half hour reading through all the threads and having a right giggle at what you`re all up too. It`s really cheered me up as i was feeling a bit grotty and unable to go cycling due to stiff knees.
Hopefully once I get that Sunday feeling shook off (general laziness!) then I`ll be back to it tomorrow.
sooo sorry about your nuisance neighbours Sarah...I have one too but no where as bad as that, mine just likes to play the piano all night which can be a pain but bareable!
Well I think I`ll try to go and look lively in the garden and maybe can muster up some energy for a cycle later.

1. Make a last ditch appeal to Mr and Mrs Chav to shut the **** up because you are that pissed off that you want to move
2. Call the police every single time you hear them arguing through the wall, may annoy the police enough to do something about it

Are they council or do they own the house. if they are tennants any chance of getting them evicted?

Noisy neighbours are terible. We're lucky here, our last ones were as quiet as churchmice, moved out late year before last, and a young guy bought it, and I've only seen him twice since. I do hope he's not buried under the floorboards or something!

My energy levels and commitment to getting the rest of this weight off have hit a low. I guess it's only natural after such a long slog. I was going to write in the post Kim did about her China ride that she should just concentrate on getting the cycling right and let the weight look after itself. I think i need to start taking my own advice!!!

I'm a bit low after leaving Oz. I realised just how much I miss the lifestyle and of course my friends and family.

Never mind, I am sure I'll get through it.

Have you never considered moving back Kyk ? take DH with you i'm the same everytime I come home i'm heartbroken when I leave people think i'm mad because its beautiful over here far better than Preston or Manchester but when i'm over there I feel like i'm home I feel like thats where I belong

Sarah Ann, hope you feel better soon my ear has been bugging me too I woke up three days ago with earache and my hearing was muffled like I have a wad of cotton wool in there I have a Murine ear wax removal kit so i'm going to try that. I used to use Earex over there. Its really nice to feel the warm soothing oil running down your earhole then it sucks because you can't hear owt maybe in your case with the chavs next door it might be a blessing
