HIS -
There are some days when I can't think about anything except the run, but on the easier days, there's almost that zen-like mental state.
Amen to that!
I'm not bonking on runs, yet...I am hitting a wall later in the day though - mid-afternoon usually.
Linda - As a Raven's fan, I am all about seeing both Brady & Rothlisburger take big doo-doo's this weekend

Go Chiefs!
I have to admit, I think I would have been disappointed with OIAJ as my first big breakfast in P3. I find OIAJ great for grab-n-go since you make it the night before...but there is something ethereal about seeing a plate of eggs, breakfast meat, yogurt and a slice of nut-buttered toast in front of you...like being at IHOP

I guess too this far into maintenance, the shine of OIAJ has worn off some

is the tangerine water enhancer new to IP?
Loser - I would love to go snowshoeing sometime! I hope DH & I can head west / NW to go skiing in February at some point!
- Positive: I woke up this morning and was able to go out and run
- Negative: I woke up this morning with tummy issues
Thought I was ok when I left out and took the hilliest route...at least today I made it to the gas station (no pre-run food either)...but I am still having issues
Needless to say, it wasn't my best run and I never reached the zen-state I love so much as I was too concerned with my belly.
I was also a little upset by the 3# scale jump this morning - and I just feel fat and bloated...but I know it goes with the tummy issues.
Curious if its the total increase in carbs...the broccoli and fresh garlic I had last night...or maybe even Saturday nights meal working through..? I know its not a flu b/c otherwise, I feel fine - had steel cut oats soaked in cashew milk overnight with 1/2 a banana for breakfast and a hard boiled egg with salt for snack.
I had an indulgence meal Saturday (DH fixed his amazing chili and I made fresh corn bread with honey) but I didn't think it was too horrible given the amount of exercise I had done (2,200 calories total for the day) - and Sunday morning the scale was fine.
Guess I will see where things shake out tomorrow.
...and RIP Ziggy / David Bowie - you are part of the stardust now
