  • Quote: Just moved down from the 160's and I think I am firmly in the 150's now. 158.8 this morning!

It has been at least 2 decades since I have seen this number on the scale. I stayed in the 160's for 3 months. The weight is coming off slower for me now. Just takes some menu adjustments and determination!

    Good luck to everyone here!
    greaaattt to see you!!!
  • 148 this morning Moving over to the 140s thread, I'm so close to my goal!
  • kahaney - keep up the good work!

    chel - thanks!

    rachelinala - congrats!

I am at our seasonal camper this weekend and only have a very old analog scale to weigh on. I have such a hard time seeing exactly where the line is. Sorta looked midway between 159 and 158. I have ordered a travel scale from Amazon, so I can use it while we come here which is most of the weekends during the spring and summer or go camping for a week at the beach in our other trailer. Can't wait to get it!
  • Got my travel scale and I need to practice weighing on it. It is only 6" in length to stand on and you have to stay balanced to get a correct weight.

Weighed in on my home scale and I have been 159 the past 2 mornings. Slow going, but at least it is not up!
  • I was 157 today.

Has anyone used the losertown weight loss calculator before? You put in your weight and height and how many calories you eat a day and it shows you your weight loss for a year+

For me it's pretty spot on. It said April 5th I'd weigh 158 down from 160 and that was true!
  • 149.0 this morning. This broke a loooong stall. Looking for a 140s thread now!

    Good luck ladies!
  • 157.0. These past 4 weeks have been slow for me. :-(
  • Joining you ladies in this thread today! Had a massive whoosh this week and weight in at 158.8, (5# loss for the week) I'm super excited!!
  • Chel - MFP has a 5 week prediction weight, too, based on the calories you ate for the day. I wrote down the prediction it gave me and will check it then.

    Congratulations, jemini!!!

2kids - it's going pretty slow for me, too. Just hang in there!

Samantha - what a great drop! Sometimes all it takes is to have a little patience!

Weigh-in this morning was 158.4. I had a pretty big dinner Friday night (broiled seafood dinner) but it was all pretty healthy. Glad it did not affect me this morning.
  • DH and I went out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays last night. They sent a coupon to my email for 44% off. I ordered their broiled seafood platter which usually costs around 20.00. It had lobster tails, 3 shrimp and Tilapia which I got blackened to save calories. For sides, I had steamed broccoli and a veggie salad with lite ranch. The sodium must have bumped up my weight up today to 159. Oh well, back to a nice home cooked meal tonight and plenty of water today hopefully will flush the sodium out and I will see a drop tomorrow morning.
  • 155 today, I'm way past my losertown weight prediction of 157 for 4/12/16 and I'm okay with that. It will work out when I start retaining water again.

5 pounds until I go from obese to overweight!
  • Good Job, chel! You are moving right along!

The scaled moved down to my new low, 157.4!! SO HAPPY!!
  • I got down to 152 over the last few days but I think it was a fluke, I'm back up to 154. I'm hoping to move into the 140's by mid May! So close to not being obese it hurts.

Back to 152 this morning. I might make 140's by May actually.

It kinda sucks and I mentioned this before but every time I reach a new low I don't feel any excitement. It's all so predictable now lol.

I need a goal to work towards to feel fulfilled.
  • chel - you're doing great! Hope you hit the 140's when you are predicting!

I weighed 156.6 this morning! Glad to see the scale moving to the mid 150's! Been really keeping my calories this past week under 1200 calories. The closer I get to a BMI of healthy the more I need to watch what I eat. My knee has been sore and painful, so I haven't been able to exercise much. Aging is NOT for the weak!
