  • Prayers being sent up for Murray James and wife Linda.

Prayer request: my cousin Gina's husband Al has just been diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. He's got at least 3 tumors on his liver. He's to undergo chemo but the prognosis isn't good. Please pray for healing and strength for Al, and for the Lord to be with Gina to support her at this time. Thanks.
  • Prayers going up for all requests. The needs are great but God is greater.
  • Prayers for everyone today, esp. EagleRiverDee's cousin's husband Al and his wife Gina. May God bless them both and all of us.
  • Gary I also feel for those with back problems. I too experience back problems but so far able to ease it with chair back vibration and of course I know losing weight would help a lot for me. Others like yourself have major issues I don't have.

    Prayers continue for all.

  • This is a cross-post from my other group I chat in more or less daily. I'm in a hurry so I copied it word-for-word. I have no doubt that me joining this forum recently changed my life. God is good and He is taking care of me. I will be back later to catch up on the threads but I am praying for you all today and every day.

    Hi Everyone,

Here real quick to post my update in a couple places then I will be back later.

I got my results from the nurse last night, a day early...

    NO CANCER FOUND!!!!

You have no idea how blessed I feel. The first 2 biopsies were cancer in July and November, this one was my last chance and it came back clear!!!

I am not cured, I am not out of the clear. I am just safe enough to try and get pregnant real quick before I will in fact have to have a hysterectomy.

I see the fertility specialist in about a month or so (after the meds get out of my system and I get back on some kind of lady schedule) and we go from there.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and well wishes. I have no doubt that losing my weight since the diagnosis and exercising my butt off literally helped me in this journey. I couldn't have done it without all of your help and motivating threads.

I will be back this afternoon for personals. *HUGS!!!*
  • Good news , elvislover, Praise God !
  • Praise God Elvislover. I feel your excitement and be praying for you to become pregnant soon.

    Prayers continue for all.
  • Very good news elvislover!! Prayers continue!
  • ELVISLOVER -- so happy for you for that positive news! Prayers continue for you and your DH and all ...
  • Elvislover-Great news! Praise God!!
  • Thank you all so so so much!!! It's been an exciting 36 hours or so, so much to think about and be thankful for.

I'm not out of the woods by any means as once I stopped taking the medication on Monday, the cancer cells aren't being fought anymore so slowly but surely it will start to grow back. Only God knows how fast or slow it happens as everyone is different. Thank God I have lost this 100lbs since my diagnosis and am on the path to lose more. The fat cells cause extra estrogen and that estrogen feeds the cancer. I had to stop the medicine in order to try and get pregnant as the medicine causes birth defects if you should conceive while on it. I see my fertility specialist in just over a month so hopefully things go quick from there.

I apologize for adding so much than prayers and thanks to my posts. I just want to get the information out online whatever way I can as there is hardly anything for young women to find online with endometrial cancer. It's not common for young women (I was 36 when I was diagnosed) to get it but we do, and obesity is a big contributing factor. I had no symptoms, it was found looking at other tests.

God blessed me with getting my mind in focus to lose this weight with help from my medical team (nutritionist, nurse & doc I see weekly for my medically supervised diet) and for finding 3FCs and my wonderful oncologist. Plus all of you that pray for me and my husband and hopefully our future baby!

Thank you again so much. I am certain God heard all of the prayers said for me. I wll continue to pray for all of you. God is great!
  • elvislover, thank you so much for keeping us posted. I and am sure others will be praying for you. I have personal knowledge of cancer, not the same kind but I know about it as I am in treatment currently I believe, sincerely the reason I am doing so well is an answer to prayer from many prayer warriors.
We have several on this forum who are battling cancer . I am grateful for dedicated medical personnel but God is greater.
