  • Have fun in the pool Karen.

Sounds like a fun day yesterday RUTH.

    What a busy day JULIA.

Angie and I are off to church this morning then up to her hometown for a "street reunion"...

    should be fun....
  • Good Monday Morning!

    Coffee is on me today!
  • Happy Monday!

or is that an oxymoron? I'm thinking I need some of that coffee, Julia, but I don't drink coffee, so how will I ever get going today?
  • I'll pass on the coffee, thanks. I have had four cups today and just noticed my pee smelled like coffee. TMI, I know but just saying.....
  • So sad to hear of Patrick Swayzee passing on. But he can now forever dance and be free of pain. I loved him in Dirty Dancing, Havannah Nights, Ghost and Road House. I have all these movies and I even recorded Road House on VHS a long time ago!! RIP
  • Bump

It is sad about Patrick Swayze. Does it seem to anyone else as if this year has been a really bad one for cancer deaths-or maybe it just seems that way since it's hit our family hard.

Today's my 1 year anniversary of my successful weight loss journey. Hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it!
  • Congratulations ronni

on your first anniversary of maintenance.

    May fifty more follow.
  • Quick note to let you know my eye surgery went well today! I can see clearly now...lol been singing that all afternoon!
  • Congrats to RONNI and JULIA!!!

RUTH the kids around here always loved to have asparagus the talk the "pee" talk.....

KAREN it sure is sad about Swayze

    Hey BILL....

Angie and I are watching MASH reruns....debating on watching Biggest Loser tonight or skipping this season....
  • 400 . . .
    . . . 100 to go.

For the final dash, recalling that we have Operator's theme, "Let the good times roll" - or, as the Cajuns say in southern Louisiana,

Quote: Laissez les bons temps rouler.

[At least we have a theme.]
  • We say that up here in Canada as well - at least those of us who are bilingual do.
Congrats to Ronni for meeting your goal.
    401.....hmmm. Wanna bet I miss 500 again because it's on a weekend!
  • Ruth, Did you know... the Cajuns (Acadians) were banished from Canada many moons ago. We're related!
  • Of course I knew that, Chelby. It's part of our history and was a dumb move! There still are lots of Acadians in the Maritime provinces who pride themselves on their heritage. (My ancestors had nothing to do with this dumb move - it was the Brits, not we Irish!)
  • Being from California I have no clue what you ladies are talking about....

    oh...I could fake it and wikipedia it...but I won't....
  • I had to google two words from 3FC today -- one word meant 'vegetarian who eats seafood'; the other word meant 'fear of vomit'. You can google it, EZ. We won't be offended.
