Marie, I’m never bored, lol. I’ve usually got several irons in the fire at one time. Congrats on that pound loss.
Rie, those Random Acts of Kindness were such lovely gestures. No wonder you felt so good. It’s too bad many people only do them at Christmas.
Carol Sue, so glad you’re feeling so much better. It’s amazing how the body heals.
Oh,
Nancy, my heart goes out to you. I can’t imagine what you’re going through but you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Freda, sending you and your husband condolences. So sad at any time of year but especially so around holidays. And the poor little doggie who doesn’t understand...
Hello,
Bobbi. I’m not having any trouble with 3FC site. I’m using Firefox. I wonder what’s up? I run two browsers occasionally. One of my bank accounts will only open in IE. But for everything else I use Firefox.
Donna, thank you for reminding everyone that Christmas calories are non-existent. That is very good as it is now December 26 and I would have consumed a great many if it were not for that holiday rule.
Happy holidays to you
Chickadee. Hope you had a good time.
Karen3, you frightened me. I thought you ended up in jail when you said you “got locked up yet again.” Then I realized you were talking about 3FC.
Karen31, Merry Christmas to you.
Mary, what is rice cake? Do tell us how it’s made. And I know what you mean about the doctor. I haven’t been to mine in a while and she’s going to give me heck for the weight gain.
Gayle, hope your Christmas was wonderful.
Darcy, a preemie baby would certainly keep you busy and away from 3FC. Is it a grandchild? Hope everything is well with the baby. A new year is on the horizon and we’ll all make a new start. I certainly need to get back on track as well.
DH and I had a pretty quiet Christmas Day all by ourselves. MIL wouldn’t go to anyone’s house for Christmas dinner but we took her visiting for a little while in the afternoon. I asked her what she had for dinner and she said nothing. Some days I’d like to grab that woman and give her a good knock up the side of her head. She has 6 children in town and many grown grandchildren and would not go to anyone’s home for dinner. She had lots of invitations. I cooked her turkey, dressing and gravy on Christmas Eve so she had lots of food in the house...sigh...I put some left-over potatoes and vegetables on a plate and gave it to her to have with her turkey for supper. The plate came back today, empty. Today our DS and DIL came for dinner. We had left-overs stretched out with a casserole dish of macaroni and cheese, and a scalloped zucchini dish. We finished it off with homemade ice cream and a Yule Log cake I’d made. Just as we were finishing up DH’s brother and wife dropped by and had some of the macaroni, as well. I’ve never made macaroni and cheese at Christmas time before but it was a nice change from all the other stuff we’d eaten. DS and DIL then left to visit with her family and we visited my BIL and wife for a while. Now I’m just like a slug on the couch wondering if I’ll have another piece of cake. It must be all gone by the new year.
All the best to all of you, and to all of you who I did not mention by name. Catch you all later.
