  • Hey Mara and Sue! Good to see familiar names still working towards a better us. My brother's wife just had their first baby today! So we'll have first cousins just 9 weeks apart We're thrilled and in baby heaven around here.

    I have successfully eaten ONLY real food for 3 days! THREE! That's a record for the year. Being pregnant did not do my body any favors but I managed to not gain like I normally would have and was well within the "allowed" limits. I'm just glad to have that behind me. DH and I think we're officially "done" now. 3 is enough for me

    I've lost 7.2 lbs since Monday morning. My body lovessss Paleo!
  • That is a great loss! I am intrigued by Paleo, but intimadated too. LOL
  • Paleo does require extra time. I meal plan for the week on Sundays then shop for groceries. There can be a bit of the carb flu right at first but I didn't experience it at all this time. That's been so lovely. I read a post on Wellness Mama . Com a year ago. That's what turned me on to giving Paleo a shot. She does a 30 day wellness challenge and sends you tips and recipes to your email. My whole family jumps on board and my kids really calm down when we're eating this way. I love it!

  • Today is day ten of my Paleo restart and also day 4 of af. I'm so proud of myself. I honestly don't want junk food. yay! It takes 21 days to start a new habit. I'm hoping this one sticks around. We're going to my in-laws this weekend. We're planning our days out so that food won't be an issue. I hope we make it. I HATE cheating on a diet. It just makes me throw it all away and forget about dieting. So, I want to take a lot of our food so I won't be tempted to cheat.

  • Hello all-- I'm having slow but some progress 245.3 today. Mara, I don't think it's a fluke-- good job! Feeling pretty good at halfway through the 240's.
