You need 4oz of meat/fish to replace a packet for lunch (or 1 egg+3 whites). Plus you still need your 8oz at dinner. Originally Posted by Largo

It's only if you have a packet/bar at lunch plus protein, then you deduct the protein from dinner allowance.
The Quest bars changed formulation, but most Canadian GNC stores still carry the old formula which is OK. Or if you'd like some other bars, I like the Protithin bars from Nashua Nutrition. ( if you're near the border, you should be able to get a US mailing address, save on shipping)
