  • Lewisempire

Thank you so very much for those words, I am actually printing them and putting them on my refridgerator so I can look at them everyday. I really appreciate the encouragement it does help to have someone know what I am going through. I will keep you posted. I eat really good for breakfast, lunch, and snacks it is just dinner time when I struggle the most. My hours at work ar now from 11am to 7pm so dinner is late as it is so I don't want to have anything to heavy any suggestion on what to fix for the entire family.
  • Just checking in to report that I have been OP all weekend. This is the first complete weekend I've been OP in a long time. I also worked out 6 days last week. I'm feeling stronger each day!

Congratulations to everyone else who had a good weekend.
  • Checking in!

  • Check In Time
Yesterday was OP - planning for an OP day today.

I'll agree - Rockinrobin is an inspiration. She could write a book

Hope everyone has a great day!
  • Today's going good for me. Started the day with a 3.25 mile walk and plan on doing a FIRM workout later this evening.

    Have a great day everyone.
  • Still pushing hard - very uphill battle for some reason despite my diligence with counting calories and my extra push on exercising.

But I am very close to reaching my 9 lb. goal for July - I had hoped today but not yet.

    Maybe tomorrow.
  • Checking in!
  • big hug and to everyone hanging in there, struggling,or coasting. we're so close to the end of the month, so it's full steam ahead!
  • Afternoon Ladies!
I saw a beautiful new # on my scale this AM---->205.6 let's hope it sticks, if it does, I am only 1.2 pounds away from my July goal. Not sure if I will make that goal, but I set my sites pretty high so I am dang proud of me!
gotta run, housework has been neglected tooooooo long!
    Have a great day!
  • LE-Love your new pic! Thanks again for keeping track of everyone on here. You're a good woman!

mystical-Glad you're back! Hope we can all help you on to success. You know you can do this!

I had a really nice weekend with fmaily and friends and ate the best I ever have on a trip back home. Yesterday I strayed a bit at the family reunion and for supper, but was very proud of myself otherwise. I felt good about my time for the race I did too. I finished the 7 miles in just under 65 minutes. I gotta get back to getting things back in order now that we're home. My aunt and uncel are coming to see the house for the first time on Friday and I need to do a bunch of stuff that I've been neglecting for awhile. Nothing like a visit from family to kick my butt into gear!
  • Hello...
Sorry everyone, I've been MIA for a few...maybe almost a week. I was doing pretty good for a while...really gaining on my goal.... but as of now I'm 230...and I didn't do anything to be this weight...I gained a few pounds. I guess it's likely that coming off my BC has done this. The nuva ring users that have mentioned side effects say sometimes the body thinks like it's pregnant, bloating, retaining, tiredness, aches.... and thus far I am soooooo tired. Tired like when I was on the Depo shot. Dropped that like a bad habit. Anyone had these things going on with BC? I'm only off because my doctor left forever and her number expired...and I went to pick up my script and they said her number expired and so did my script. So.... sorry about the long drag....I'm just so tired I can't even think about exercise, barely made dinner for everyone...just keep falling asleep. *yawn* ....sleep....

anyway....I hope to catch up with yall soon...absolutely sure I will not make goal this month. ... not really upset yet about that....but we'll see.
  • Check In Time

Yesterday was OP - planning another OP day today

Hope your day is a good one!
  • Good Morning ladies!

MsP- I am in awe of you! Seven miles in 65 minutes is Mindblowing to me! Way to Rock it Chick-a-dee! Good luck with the house cleaning/fixing. It is funny how having company can motivate us!

GettinFit-keep up the good work, looks like you are in the groove. On plan weekends are difficult for me to achieve sometimes, soWay to go!!!!!

NightAngel- sorry to hear you are struggling. Not to get you down, but I am a firm believer that BC can cause massive weight fluctuations in some people. That is how my weight spiralled out of control, I gained almost 40 pounds in less than 2 months on those dang things. I am still struggling to get that off. I know it doesn't effect everyone that way, but I really think for some, it does. I hope you can figure out a balance. PS, the thing about a goal is....it is something you can strive for. If you reach it great, next time make it higher. If you don't reach it, adjust your actions and try again!

I was up most of the night for work, so now I have to be extra careful because I often lose sight of my goals when I am sleepy. I saw 205.6 again this am, so I am super excited. Onederland is right over the hill for me! Hope everyone has a Great Day!
