Carol, I know what you mean. I feel young inside, too. I'm 56, but have a lot of joint issues, as well. I'm sure most of them from carrying around this extra baggage for so many years. You've really been through it with your heart and other health issues. This is one reason I would love to get this weight off. Heart disease runs in my family and I don't want to go down that same road. Already on BP meds and would like to see if losing weight will help me reduce those drastically.

I hear you on exercise being so important. And your friend, my goodness! That's some sheer determination! I need to make myself start exercising more...or I should say at all. I get up and get dancing in fits and starts, but not much of anything at all lately. Maybe visiting these threads will motivate me to get off my behind more often.
Any tips on how to make your fast last when you're starving? I have some bouillon in the kitchen, but I see it's 3 carbs per serving. No thank you! Had my coffee for the day and now drinking water to try to get to 11:00. It's just 9:50...Gonna get busy and get my mind off of eating.
