  • Howdy! I thought I would join in here because I really want out of the 140s! I weighed in this morning at 144.4.

    I saw 139, like, once in my life...for about a half of a second...4 years ago. Since then I've been on that gain 10 pounds / lose 10 pounds roller coaster and I'm tired of it! Ultimately I think I'd like maintain between 135-140. So close, yet so far away!

    I have no adult memory of weighing in the 130s, so I'm excited to get there too!

    Thank you, it feels grand!! I haven't weight myself since as I've been traveling. But, all my size 6 clothes fit comfortably whereas I was a size 8. So, I've definitely lost inches.
    Just trying to maintain for now.
  • Hello fellow 140s -

    After spending most of my life in the 1-teens and 120s, a few years ago I bumped up to the 130s. Now I routinely get myself into the 140s and even low 150s with very poor eating and exercise habits. I've been 140+ since May, and hit 150 again (hadn't been that high in 3 years) last month.

    I am pretty sure my set-point now is low-140s when I am being "OK" and that I MIGHT still be able to maintain in the mid 130s if I am "good" with eating and exercising. By "good" I mean no insane bread/chocolate/sugar binges and by exercising I mean occasionally getting off the couch and sweating

    My body is horrible in the high 140s. I wouldn't mind the number if it meant I was in shape at that weight, but for me (small frame/high body fat) it means huge rolls, cellulite and none of my clothes fit.

    I can't remember what my ticker goal is but for now, my goal is 139.8. I don't really care so much about the scale number but I know from experience that I feel much less sluggish and floppy and healthier in general with these extra pounds of fat eliminated. I am going to figure out my exact plan today but in general it consists of at a minimum: no more binge-iness, cut out refined carbs, eat some damn veggies already, exercise every day (even if that consists of simple a walk around the neighborhood)...

    So that is 148.4 (today) down to 139.8 = 8.6 lbs. Sounds like so little but the recent past has taught me that this will be quite difficult for me to lose. I will say that my goal will be to do this in 9 weeks = just in time for American.

    Here's to a healthy march down to the 130s for all of us!!!!
  • 142.6 this morning. Very slowly coming down! I was also on a plane all day on Monday, so who knows if that's making a difference or not. I tend to get stuck right around this weight when I get down here and not lose anymore because I feel decent, but I'd really like to just keep on trucking this time around.

    Getting from the low 140's into the 130's is seeming impossible for me!! I've been yo-yoing between 140 and 143 for like 3 weeks now. Ack, I really want to see 138 by Canadian Thanksgiving next weekend (I'm going home).
  • Hi everyone! I FINALLY SAW 149.5 THIS MORNING! I've never, EVER seen the 140's! I am super pumped! I can't believe I am posting in the featherweight's section...!

  • I'm here...in and out of the 140's. 141.0 today. I really, really want to stop visiting the 140's.
  • I hit 149 this morning!! That means Im down a total of 100 POUNDS!!

    Also considered "normal" weight from a BMI standpoint. Just so excited....happy to finally be out of the 150s.
