  • Congrats to all the newcomers!! It takes a lot of hard work to get here no matter where you all started. I have been MIA for a while (~2 weeks) dealing with some serious stuff, and healthy eating totally took a back seat. I finally decided to weigh myself and see the damage and it was a whopping....1 pound. 1 pound, huh? I completely expected the scale to shoot from 163 to 170, but no. I guess as slow as the weight came off, I get a little reprieve when my life goes crazy and I fall of the wagon. And the best part is it I get to share it with the 3FC girls and guys.
  • GoingForGold- that's awesome! I'm really happy for you! You must not have fallen off as badly as you thought which is a good sign! You're doing great, and that 1 lb gain will be off in no time!

  • Reese - thanks for the support. I was definitely blowing through an easy 3-3.5K calories/day for a solid week and a half. I guess the stress actually made me lose weight this time lol. I want to get that extra pound off asap though! Having some chicken and a sweet potato tonight.

    Unstoppable - welcome to the forum. As I continue to trek on down to the 140s/150s forum, you gals keep trekking into the 160's. Glad to have you all on the journey :-)

  • Ok, so tracker should now be ready! Where are my 160s/170s ladies? I am starting to stall a little on weight loss, so I need some fresh new ideas of foods to incorporate that will keep me full and from overeating. So far, cottage cheese (dairy in general) and celery and peanut butter prevent any major damage from being done. What do you all eat to keep yourselves on track?

    I moved though the 180s kinda fast so it might take me a little longer to move though this decade. Hopefully that isn't the case. I'm really anxious to see 173 in order to reach a normal weight BMI (see sig). We can do this!!
  • Unstoppable - awesome!!! Congrats :-) You have totally motivated me to get my butt working and start watching what I eat again. I need to get out of the 160s...I have just been lingering too uncomfortably long lol.

    Starting in this thread at 179.4... I am hoping I can be 159lbs by the middle of February!
  • Hi, I've been in the 170's for a few days now, so I'm officially joining you here.
    I'm so thrilled to be in the 170's again, the last time that happened was in the beginning of 2009, and only for a couple of months. I haven't been in the 160's since 2005, so that's going to be a huge accomplishment for me. I'm working hard to get there this year!
    I'm also really close to a overweight BMI and to reaching half of my goal weight loss, so yay for that. Big milestones coming up, I can hardly believe I got this far!
