Yes, but unless I shift some of this weight then the rest of my life is likely to be very short. Heart problems run in my family - at 50 I'm the only female in the last 3 generations of my Mum's side of the family not to have had a stroke or heart attack by this age - and its almost as bad on my father's side with nearly all of then not living beyond 60. I only really found this out when I did a family tree and noticed that everyone seems to die young.
I totally and completely agree that I have to live healthily for the rest of my life - but with a short term goal of losing a lot of weight.

I started out at 226, so I know where you're coming from (I think I will fill in my user CP thingy).
I recommend Anita Bean's Strength Training book

the first post works OK then when I post on a different thread I get that message
i'll have to try 'go advanced' then
but the main topic of conversation (
periods) does'nt affect me anymore i'm happy to say
scales are showing a bit of a loss
don't know why cuz i'm still eating pies and chocolate and drinking lager
and I have'nt exercised at all
i'll see if it continues to go down next week
the "can't be bothered" diet sounds good to me
weather is beautiful here
blue skies and sun
still a bit nippy but just looking out at the beautiful sky is enough to lift your mood
Sometimes they should just shut up
Or maybe I'm already on it...

and the Spanish
You'll feel like a proper runner then!
