  • Congrats, Northern! That's fantastic!!!!

And, I whooshed in this week, I certainly don't mind!! 177 today!!!
  • Happy New Year!

Well, I definitely went off the deep in this past week...sure I'm back in the 170's, but not going to weigh in until Friday. My first goal this year will be to get back to my ticker weight. Hope everyone else is doing well!
  • Wish I could say I was doing well, but my eating this last week and half has been terrible. I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks, and now, between the weight gain from eating and PMS bloating, I am staying away from the scale. However, I know that I am above my ticker weight. So, starting over again for the New Year!

    Good luck to everyone!
  • Can't wait to get to the gym tomorrow. I indulged NYE too, so definitely want to make sure I remain on track!!
  • 176 at the gym this morning. Glad the weekend wasn't a derailment. Feeling stronger with every workout, but wishing my loose skin would tighten up a little faster!
  • rainydays - Sounds like you are doing well with exercise. Keep up the good work!

I weighed in at 169 lbs today! So, in the interest of positive thinking, I am going to join the 160s thread and hope I continue to go down instead of up!

    Good luck
  • Great job guacamole!!!
  • 173.4 today, whoo! How is everyone doing?

    Aww, thank you!
  • Hi, everyone! I just joined and glad I did.... It is so inspiring to read all your posts.

I have been in the 185-165 range for the past four years. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis four years ago (at 32yrs old) and at that time the swelling and pain in my knees made it unbearable to walk much less workout!
    So I went from 140 to 186

Now, that my RA is under control and I'm done feeling sorry for myself......

I am ready to drop the weight!!!

    My current weight is....176.6
  • fell out of my saddle
Was riding along just fine with counting calories and daily fitness activity and boom... fell right out of my saddle. Ugh! Had a four day lapse. Thankfully it didn't involve too much junk food but i didn't track my calories or work out. Feeling wimpy. I'm jumping back on the saddle today. Managed to do really well on calories so that was motivational. Didn't work out though. Tomorrow is a better day but today I fear the scale. I think I will wait for the sun to come up before a face that scale again. I better not be back in the 180s again.

fabulous... welcome to the thread. your goals are similar to mine. I hope we can share a few stories on our journey to 140-land.
  • DocAuD: I'm glad to hear you're back on the saddle again!

I'm feeling pretty frustrated.....I've been working out 5-6 days a week and eating between 1300-1500 calories a day and not dropping much weight.

Today, I went on a 12 mile bike ride and 30mins on the elliptical. Hopefully...I will see 175 tomorrow
