  • Why oh why do I keep forgetting to weigh before I eat? Arrgh.... might have hit 2# if I had... lol or so I'm telling myself. Another 1.8. Slow and steady... and in a few weeks I'll probably be remembering these "large losses" and wishing they were back.

    Welcome! Lol I keep forgetting to weigh before I eat too. It makes me mad to have to way after, although I suppose in reality there is very little difference. Granted, so far every time I've done so I've still had a loss... I'll probably sing a different tune if it is a stall and/or a gain. :P

    No, I suppose not, if you weigh consistantly after breakfast, but sometimes I would also forget and have my shoes on, or do it after exercising, during which I can easily drink a kilo of water. I had to make rules for myself "after morning tea, without shoes..." etc.

    I'll be here on Tuesday, for better or worse...
  • *Sigh* I have not been here to update since Jan 13. That's about the same time as I started stalling. Coincidence? I think not. I have been the neglectful spouse in my marriage to the scale. Taking him for granted. Just a passing hello in the morning. I know for this wt loss journey to work, we must work together as one. I must think of him all day and work harder to keep him happy.

    OK....In real life, I don't talk about my wt or wt loss (too ashamed), and when I joined this forum, I had a stern "talking to" with myself. This will do no good unless I'm completely open and honest. So here we go again with an updated post--I've been pretty good about keeping track, so here's the ugly truth. I MUST find a way to better prioritize health and wt loss again--my scale marriage is in jeopardy! Must stay more focused and accountable.

    I started on a Sun, so Sunday is my anniversary date. I weigh Daily and keep a Weekly Average as well.

    2/25/13 ... 154.0 Moving in the right direction, but fighting some kinda virus. Still I will take the victory.

    Life seems a little out-of-control just now. Must get healthy and also manage stress coming from extended family. Should be an "interesting" week.

  • Can I join the weekly weigh in please? I'm 40, currently still breastfeeding a bouncing 7-month boy and really struggling with the baby weight (not to mention the 30 extra pounds I was carrying pre-pregnancy).
