Morning everyone

It's still very cold here. I've got an eyebrow appointment at noon today and have some errands to run. We'll be stopping at the health food store to pick up oatmeal and few other things. So we'll be gone most of the afternoon.

Well, this morning my period greeted me. Explains the 'attack all food in sight' syndrome past couple days.

BTW there's peanut butter recall cuz of Salmonella. I don't know which company yet cuz they briefly mentioned it in the news this morning. If I remember correctly it was a Georgia based company - Not sure.

I'm drinking coffee now, finished eating cereal. Will be soon going downstairs to workout.

Oh Obama is visiting here today. They've blocked roads close to downtown and such.

Oh only few more days till I have to see Bush/Cheney portraits every morning. I wonder if they'll replace it on the weekend or after 19th.

Had fun last night, drank too much which was going to happen. Feel fine this morning except a little sleepy and need oodles of water. Banana pecan pancakes were yummy. I want people out of my house now though. I have to study all day - barf.

PMS **** is my current state of mind...perhaps it is more than PMS...it seems like it gets worse each month.

I am off to sing and smile at a wedding when it is the LAST thing on earth I feel like doing right now.

Just here, spreadin' my joy I will likely be keeping out of sight the rest of the weekend lest I harm anyone inadvertently. Last month was the SIL debacle which did not go so well and has had lasting repercussions.

We did the family celebration for M's birthday. I think my overall cals were decent, though nothing nutritious. Lots of snackies, no real meals.

I am so tired. I tried to get to bed around 9:30 last night, but as I do this week every year, I have to replay everything about Meara's hospital stay. I had never written about it, so I blogged part of it last night. Took an adult Benadryl and fell asleep around 1. Tonight, I am taking the Benadryl at nine.

Natural store trip was good but lot of $$. The one we went to is a little far from our place and a little pricey but we were in the area so we stopped there. They have more selection too. Oh I bought some Agave Nectar to try as well. They had both light and dark agave and I had no clue which one to get. So I just picked the light one. Rhonda, which one do you use?

Oh we bought Gimme Lean "meat" for the first time and had it tonight with ww pasta. Funny thing is that it was Mike's idea to try it. I'm glad we did cuz its a good substitute.

Eyebrow appointment went well. I feel I lost some weight just by getting them done

Random info for the night- I'm going to have a PBJ sandwich tomorrow. I've been craving it since yesterday.

Bad food x 3 days. Scale repreive for the first 2. (likely b/c I had been really watching prior to TOM and was covered when all on plan plans exploded. Don't think it'll be pretty tomorrow am.

did talk to dh about what was bothering me. don't expect much change but at least I'm not harboring annoyance and anger anymore.

Billie-- little debbies are really gross if you think about the ingredients but taste--pure processed heaven... get'em out and keep'em out!

Pinto-- for the last 4.5 months I have forgone all waxing and mani/pedis b/c I couldn't justify the expense. I miss it

Anna-- we had bday celebs here this weekend. I fared not so great. but the cake is getting tossed tonight.

Manick-- I read your "mind over platter" a while ago and am repeatedly amused.

Jen-- AWESOME on all fronts!

I have a massage appointment today which I'm very much looking forward too. I need to chug some water now though to get ready for it. I have to study more and do a bit of work today. I didn't make it to shoe store yesterday and they're closed today - should've checked out their hours before I decided to procrastinate. I'm contemplating going for a run on the treadmill before massage, depends on what time my houseguest leaves.

random question - How many calories in a vegan cupcake do you think? I'm guessing 300ish? Too low? It's choc with a decent amount of a vanilla frosting.

Anjuli - I've slid back into using Splenda again. When I use the agave, I like the dark. The light doesn't add enough sweetness into my coffee for me.

Manick - I'm so sorry you're feeling crappy.

Heather - I've never had a massage. I'm thinking of making that my 1/2 to goal gift.

Anna - Benadryl is lovely.

Tonight, I will be attending a lock-in at the skating rink for the girl scouts. I'm sure I'll get a ton of sleep! There will also be tons of junk...pizza, chips, brownies,sodas, etc. We have to be there at 7:45, so my plan is to eat dinner before and take my water bottles. There will be no need for me to eat one bite of anything.

I would pack some sort of healthy snack for yourself. Just in case. I would hate to see you end up eating junk. Maybe a piece of fruit, string cheese, and a few crackers. Better to be prepared and not need it than to cave to temptation.

Lucy-Don't worry you can get right back on track!

Rhonda-Be strong and if you think you need to bring your own snacks to the rink. That way you have something healthy if you need it. You can do it!!

Jo-Where are you? I found honeycrip apples today! They are really really good.

So I had Wendy's last night and learned a valuable lesson. It's been 16 days since I have had "fast food" (I had Subway, but to me that doesn't count)
and my stomach is so upset. Plus I had heartburn last night for the first time since I started staying OP. Even though last night was OP, I think I will skip the "fast food" from now on. I can't tell you though how much it reaffirmed why I'm doing this because I really feel so much better when I eat healthier.

Now you know why I hide them from my kids.

After the grazefest yesterday, all is good today. I may even get to the gym. If not, I can go tomorrow night. If child watching does not work out, I could get on the treadmill here and at least walk.

Hey gang, just got back from last minute trip to St. Pete for a family-in-law visit. Glad to be back, need to catch up on everything!

I'm bingy and it's pissing me off. I know it's due to stress over the exam. The massage helped some though I'm a little nauseous right now and chugging the water. She seriously moved some deep seeded stuff out of me. Okay off to study more. Woo freaking hoo.
