My day:

1. breakfast egg, 1/2 toast, coffee with skim
2. screw around on computer until time for kids' doctors appts. They are hacking up their lungs; go to farm to get eggs and beef
3. Cheese stick
4. Write love letter to DH for anniversary
5. Lunch: Left over orzo salad, shrimp added
6. Plant, plant, plant, plant
7. Kiss DH when he walks in and tell him to cook the food on the grill (meat two nights in a row!)
8. Take myself for a run
9. Dinner: hamburgers, salad
10. DH to Tae Kwon Do
11. Wash kids
12. Put them to bed
13. Read
14. Sleep

Good morning everyone-- I'm off to my apartment's teensy gym (Tuesday's I usually work 12-9).
And to answer the question about where everyone is from, I moved to DC in February but prior to that had lived in Atlanta my whole life, and sure wish I was still there today (and whenever else it gets chilly here...)

Good lord, I missed a BUNCH of posts!

I went home after work yesterday and was dead tired. After dinner, I napped on the couch off an on till about 9:30, then went to bed and slept through the night. I still feel kinda tired this morning--not good

I did stick to my food plan yesterday, which is good. But I woke up this morning with a headache, and now my stomach is feeling a bit queasy. I just want to go back home and curl up in bed watching cartoons.

But no, back to work...

40 and I live in Florida.

Rhonda – glad the scales were nice to you this morning! What is agave nectar? I’m not sure we have that here. Sorry about your MIL – I smoke, but I’m one of those very polite smokers and I would never smoke near or in a non-smokers home and I don’t even do it if, let’s say, I go out for dinner or drinks with non-smokers. I guess it’s more just a thing I do more at work than anywhere else (outside of course) and the plan is to stop all together (not everything at once please… first focus on the food and the exercise… the rest will come!)

Oh Amy – I totally didn’t even think you were going into Winter now… of course!

Karmuz - I hear you on the no new clothes for a while thing. I’m waiting it out. I feel quite frumpy and old as well. But there is a young mind-set girl inside me waiting to break free!!

Daffy – your days off are now officially OVER. Imagine me in a Drill Sergeants Uniform!! Sorry to hear you had heartburn. I have issues with that too sometimes. I’m definitely caffiened up by the way – I work at Starbucks so it’s flowing already like a river through the office.

Mj – hope your workout goes well today!!

MomOf4Girls (sorry I’m still behind on all the names) – I’m 39 and I live in Arnhem (the Netherlands). I’m from the States originally though, but this is pretty much where I feel most at “home”

Tee – my stepmom’s surname is O’Meara, so I’m pretty fond of that name as well. She’s from Dublin (her mom was French though, so her first name is French as well).

Josephine - thanks! It has a lot to with becoming completely real, not just with weight loss. I went through a lot emotionally a few years ago and realised I was very far from being my true self. So, yeah, it's quite inspirational!

Oh, lady, you make me laugh!

Last week we ran out of coffee filters and I had to leave the house to buy my coffee. Before we could leave the kids needed morning snack and we all had to get dressed. And then to top it off we had to walk since DH had taken the car that day. It was all I could do not to scream obscenities as the caffeine headache set in and the kids stopped to examine every single rock on the sidewalk.

That was lovely. Thank you! I'll update later on how my eating goes today. I'm supposed to go to a potluck lunch so it's going to take some extra effort this afternoon.

And since you were so nice about my request for kicking me in the pants, can I also ask for some "good running" vibes this evening? I'm running with my clinic group tonight and I'm totally intimidated. I made my friend promise to hang back with me since I'm sure I'll be the slowest one!
