  • My weight loss this month has been soooo slow So far I've only lost 2 pounds but I'm happy because I've lost another 1.25 inches off my waist. Hopefully, I lose more in Oct.

  • Still here and doing well, but so unbelievably busy. - like crazy busy!!! But with the program. Somehow losing over 10 pounds this month despite 3 days of eating way too much. I'll probably pay for those indulgences in next month's numbers.

  • This was my worst month this year. I was on vacation for almost a week, then went to Oktoberfest and the same day a retirement party. So the end of the month was bad. I gained +2.8 Lbs. My lowest weight this month was 198.2 Lbs. So from my lowest weight I'm up + 6.2 Lbs. I hope some of it is water weight. Good Luck, Everyone!

    Keli, thank you for waiting for me to catch up but time to have a talking to with that scale of yours! The 170's are a tough decade. I know they were very difficult for me the last time I dieted. I just bounced up and down, over and over, and even when I touched the 160's, I landed back up in the 170's and never recovered! But let's beat this decade together! I want to get down to the lower half of the 170's by the end of October, and I'd LOVE to see you stay ahead of me, where you belong! We can do it!

    9/09 - 165.2 Just a bump on the hump....day; water retention from salty, delicious pub food last night...I'm still puffy but I WILL flush it away today!
    9/10 - 164.6 Back to Monday's weight....still a little puffy....fingers crossed for a small whoosh tomorrow
    9/11 - 164.6 No whoosh but that's okay....salty brat and sauerkraut last night.... no worries. Still -4 lbs for the month; 19 days to lose the other 2.2 lbs.
    9/12 - 163.8 Yeah! 1.4 to go.
    9/13 - 164.0 bad girl at the pub last night and I'm not talking about too much grub. it was a lose/lose.....today I'm puffy and tired; I'm too old to be up past ten pm.
    9/14 - 165.8 TOM is here a week late, but last month was week early, so I guess one side is on time and the other side is out of sync.
    9/15 - 165.4 lbs TOM....blah!
    9/16 - 164.6 lbs TOM, day 3, hopefully tomorrow (maybe Friday) I'll be back down to my previous weight and then some.
    9/17 - 163.8 lbs Last day of TOM and back to my pre-misery weight. Looking for a decent drop tomorrow
    9/18 - 162.6 lbs Whoosh! Just 0.2 lbs away from my monthly goal.....yeah
    9/19 - 162.6 lbs No drop but I'm happy after last night's guacamole, pizza, and beer......and in bed at 9:30 without any water past 2pm!
    9/20 - 162.6 lbs again but I did have a big steak dinner and drinks last night, so I'll take it. Tomorrow's a brand new day!
    9/21 - 163.0 lbs Booooo! All those potatoes yesterday have wreaked havoc in the plumbing
    9/22 - 162.4 lbs This month's goal has been reached!
    9/23 - 162.6 lbs Boooo! Pub night gets me every time
    9/24 - 163.0 lbs Boohoo!
    9/25 - 162.0 lbs It's gone
    9/26 - 162.2 lbs Still below goal.... Minor setback from Friday night pizza and beer love fest.
    9/27 - 163.2 lbs weekends are rough
    9/28 - 164.2 lbs I know this isn't real weight gain and due to my plumbing problems but I hate it!
    9/29 - 164.2 lbs I've resorted to OTC remedies.
    9/30 - 163.0 lbs I had a little bit of relief, but still waiting for the "one." Hoping to see a whoosh when it happens
  • I'm ending the month short of my goal but I'm still happy with my results this month. Looking forward to a great October

    I don't even remember what my original goal was! For me, this was a month to Just Get Through, so I am inordinately happy to have accomplished ANYthing, and start a downward trend, that I hope will continue.
