See how dedicated i am at cutting down my workload at home? Said I was going to leave and get stuff done, and meanwhile I have dirtied a coffee mug!!!!

I should really just shut the computer down instead of leaving it on all the time... it's very distracting. And would save electricity. And I might get some work done, too.

I had a mouse in my waste paper basket in my bed room when I was in my first apartment...I was in my mid-twenties. I had left a wrapper in there and mousey went a-huntin for it...what to do at 2:00am if there is a mouse in the waste paper basket in your bedroom that wakes you up as it is scurry and chowing on your candy wrapper? Why call Mom and Dad of course. I dialed the telephone and said...Daddy, there's a mouse in my trash can...he replied put a book on top of it and go back to sleep.

No gym today...I bonked my head on the corner of our stairwell yesterday and thought that I should take it easy today...also feel like I'm coming down with a cold! How annoying. Just spoke to my sis, she is on her way here with my little nephew. She didn't want to stop in when I said I might have a cold but I talked her into it...that little rascally boy always makes me happy...gotta give him a big squeeze.

I weighted 185 today. Down a bit more.

You know, that mouse was actually EATING the wrapper! Not content to just lick off the chocolate... and it was a Skor bar... they're covered in some combination of plastic and metal.
I once ate 13 Skor bars in one day. I only weighed 130 at the time.

Just popping in to let you all know that I'm still alive and kicking!
Sounds like you guys are having a blast in here, from boobs to mice! LOL What a combination.
And to put my 2 cents in on the boob conversation....I'm a 34B and I hate them! I want bigger ones. The aren't in porportion with my body! And after breast feeding two children they are all stretched out! When I bend over, they hang in a long thin tube like shape! Sometimes I jump up and down to feel them jiggle so I know I really do have boobs! LOL
I've slacked with the gym this week. Have decided to get back into a routine of going come Tuesday since the gym will be closed on Monday for thanksgiving.
And I should start tracking my food and calories again. I guess what I'm saying is that tuesday will be my new beginning. Again..lol I've got to put a little more effort into this or it's not going to work. And I want to be able to wear some nice outfits as xmas gets closer!

Boobs - 36DD here. Hate them. Can't get clothes to fit properly.

I'd rather have mice than the hairy alien bug monster I found this morning! GEEZ....I've never seen anything so vile in my whole life. My cat was sniffing at something in the hallway, and afraid it was a spider (cat ate spider last year, threw up for three days), I chased the cat away, then recoiled in horror! This thing is about an inch and a half, with long feeler-antennae thingys, and about 40 legs....STRIPED legs.....*shudder*....I pickled him. I put him in an old pickle jar (no juice) so my landlady can show him to the bug man when he comes to spray this month. I called her and told her I'd found an alien bug and I wanted to her to have it. But see, the really horrible thing is, I've found two itsy bitsy little bugs that looked just like this alien bug in my shower. Lightening fast, too. I just killed the little ones and didn't think much of it. BUT if those itsy bitsy things grew into Mr. Alien Bug....what if he isn't full grown????

ellis, I have a recipe for a Black Forest Cheesecake that is low-fat. If you're interested, I'll dig out the recipe and post it for you.

Question for the Canadian chicks...

Is your Thanksgiving like ours? Turkey and stuffing and gravy and cranberry sauce and turnips and sweet potaotes and pies and eat like a pig til your gall bladder explodes?

Well sure it is! What would be the point otherwise? We just have ours earlier because it gets cold faster up here! It also gives us time to recover a bit before the Christmas food orgy!

Actually there is a long boring story about how we ended up celebrating the second Monday of October. I'll spare you!

What happened Ruthxxx? Did our Pilgrims arrive too early? Don't you hate it when you invite people to dinner and they show up half an hour earlier than the time you said and you are running around like a chicken (or turkey) with your head cut off cause half the dinner isn't ready yet

Wildfire- your bug sounds like a millipede I hate those things too! Oh, and roaches and earwigs creep me out, spiders I can live with.

Now listen girls. Speaking from experience (unfortunately), I will tell you that those gorey looking millipedes EAT cockroaches!! I used to hate them too until we bought our city house. On moving day, a friend said to me, "Ummm, Ellis, did you know your new house is crawling with cockroaches?" aaaaaaaaaargh!! It was dreadful!! We ended up spending 300 bucks on an exterminator.
Anyhow, ever since I have looked fondly upon the hairy old millipede. Beside, they're harmless. And they're always on the floor. Try to relax, Wildfire.
By the way, thanks for the offer of the recipe, sweetie... don't worry... my sister-in-law has just told me she's bringing dessert, so I'm free of it. Phew! Where is payday when you need it? And why don't I budget better?

Ok i guess if everone else is going to share there boob size i can too, I'm a 38 G (no that's not a typo) Granted with my fat gut they don't look that big but when i lost 40 pounds before I didn't lose a single ounce off of them . I'll gladly trade with anyone that is a size C or Smaller.

Wildfire i wouldn't be very happy either about finding one of those things in my house. Bugs are fine as long as they stay outside but if they come in there fair game for getting smushed.

I've finally got my eating under controll now if I can just get those darn dust bunnies to find a new home so i can get back on my treadmill.

I am in a great mood for once!!!!! Just heard that my sister's baby was born last Monday in Guatemala. She can't go to get him for 6 months, but he is healthy, and she will be getting regular updates and pictures. WOOHOO!!!!
This makes me an Aunt for the first time, and i am THRILLED!!! Just wish she could get the baby sooner, but since she is having a hysterectomy in January,
she'll have time to recuperate before she goes. This is after lots of years of in vitro and looking to adopt, so I am REALLY happy for her!!!!

Congratulations, Auntie Den! How exciting for your family!
