Good Morning.

I had to give the girls back yesterday. I had a HUGE fight with my Mom and Sister. I'm really hurt and stressed. Today is a new day and I'm really trying to get past it and not let it consume me. On a different note...It's really hot here!!! It's already 86 degrees outside and it's not even 8:00.

Were is everyone??

Tina~ I'm sorry your leaving us. I hope things get better for you soon . You've come so far. Don't give up now. You can do this!

Sugar-N-Spice~ ...He made me laugh. If I had a trainer like that I wouldn't be able to workout, I'd be laughing the whole time.

Roni~ Thank you so much for mentioning Labor Day. If it's being talked about then that means it's coming soon and that means summer's almost over . I was in the dollar store the other day and they had Halloween and Fall decorations out. That means it will be here before you know it!!!!!! LOL!

Yeah I saw that too at a couple of stores. Unfortunately for us, it stays hot up until around the end of October, maybe mid October. They call'em Indian summers here. I HATE it. As soon as Sept hits, I am sooooo ready for some cooler temps, changing leaves and cool breezes. I like to see lots of leaves on the ground by Halloween. But (knock on wood) it's been hot here, but not as hot as it normally is during the summer. Of course we still August to get through, but it really hasn't been too bad. I think that means we may be in for a hella cold winter! Hopefully with LOTS of snow!

Also Lonnie, about the mom, sister & kids thing. You can only do so much and then you are pretty much powerless to do anything about it unless you can get the law on your side and that means custody and all that mess. I guess just try and let it go and focus on you & your family. I know it's hard, but sometimes ya just have to let go a little and not be consumed by things ya have no power over. Yanno?

Only a couple more weeks of summer vacation here and then school starts back (August 6th) and the worry will set in again. I REALLY worry about Matt a lot since he tends to get picked on and clowns around a little too much in class. But I have been told by a few peeps that High School is way more laid back as far as the clowning goes. His last school would send a kid to court for being a clown. It's so stupid. I hope I get a job soon, I need to be able to buy school clothes & supplies. It's hard enough just trying to get the bills paid and food bought much less anything extra. *sigh*

I slept soooooooooo good last night. First good nights sleep in a couple of days and I feel pretty good, even though AF is upon me. I can definately see a difference in my posture already from doing 100 crunches 3 times a week. I feel taller and stronger. Think I'll keep doing that.

Good Morning Sunshines!! I'm about to head out to the Farmers market before it gets too ungodly hot but had to stop and say hello! Hopefully I can get the lawn trimmed and mowed today too, I'm not to fond of doing yard work when its 90 degrees though.

You girls need to stop all this talk about summer being over!!! I've not gotten to go camping yet and if summer ends without me going I'm not gonna be a happy camper at all!

Lonnie.. I'm so sorry about the situation with the girls. I think you just need to try and keep a close and open relationship with them so that they know they have someone to turn to when they need it. And document everything!

Roni... Yay a good nights sleep!! gotta love that strong core huh? Something I definetly need to be working on!

Tina...just because your numbers wont count anymore, I hope you still hang out with us around here. Sounds like you need some support right now and thats what we are here for. Let us know if we can help.

Danielle...Does your new trainer worship in the house of Bob? LOL! He sounds so fantastic I cannot be more thrilled that you found someone who gets it! YaY more losses!!!!

Just wondering....
Those who are doing the Midsummers 5k...Are y'all gonna take pics?

I've done 2 of them and no pics so far because they were done @ the GYM on the TM. But this time I am gonna run along the river and I think I may have Jess snap a pic or two of me as I woggle my way down the road.

I have been MIA on this board lately. I have been WAY off track this last week. Going on vacation and then starting a new job...it has been all bad. I can't seem to get back on track. I have been telling myself I will go back to SB on Monday...but I don't want to. It is terrible. I need to find my motivation again.

I got up this morning to an ANT infestation! Grrrr....I HATE ANTS! They are so gross. I bought some sunflowers for someone that is in the hospital and they were covered with ants. I think that is what attracted them. Anyone know of a "home remedy" to keep ants away? I don't really like all those chemicals in my house, esp. my kitchen.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Kara...I think I'm starting back on WW on monday. I've found I need some darn structure and guidance, this trying to wing it isnt working! So what do ya say..if I can do it so can you??

Sorry -- just a quick "hi" -- I dropped the boys off with my sister yesterday afternoon and they are gone with her for a week. Dave and I have been having an awesome time doing "adult stuff " -- even went gambling tonight (I hate "donating" my money!!). I miss my kids so much -- but it's also nice, I'm a SAHM and it's been almost 9 years since I've been alone! (We don't go out, the kids have never had a babysitter, etc.).

Hope everyone is doing well -- I know I let a lot of this challenge pass by without my best effort, but I'm still plugging along!!

I don't think so. The peeps have been making their own numbers and/or tee-shirts. Some post pics, some don't. I am still undecided because I HATE having my pic taken, much less sharing it on the internet. I may have lost 15+ lbs, but I really don't see much difference in pics and it just makes me feel discouraged.

Anywho, TOM has arrived and I am moody. Prolly won't be on much today.

I don't usually post a pic when I do the 5K. Fewer people are doing t-shirts and numbers and such as well.

But, it is FUN to see everyone's pictures and stories, so - if you are comfortable doing so, I encourage you to post a pic.

Having a good weekend here in MI. Working in the yard and the gardens and getting chores done. Still at 129 this morning
It feels weird not updating the weigh-in thread. Oh, which reminds me - gotta go update the challenge thread.

YES. We can do it together. I had a dream last night that has inspired me to re-commit myself. I am going to set a Christmas goal...what better gift than to be smaller for Christmas! I need to get a few things and will be ready to go tomorrow! You too?

Kara...I'm gonna get some groceries tonight and I'll be ready to go! We can do this!!! I'm all for that Christmas goal. I dunno if I told Red team before that I had a dream about Bob Harper. And how he was giving me a hard time about losing weight saying...well what are you really doing? At the rate you are going Thanksgiving is gonna be here and you'll still be whining about wasting time. And that just keeps getting more and more true the closer we get to Thanksgiving. So darn it if I dont need to prove "bob" wrong! LOL!

Salt around the perimeter is suppose to work. I've not tried it so I don't know if it's just an old wives tale or not.
And ya gotta take some time for yourself. If you don't want to go back on SB don't, but find something that will work for you. I think all of us should get remotivated to really kick it up a notch for the rest of the challenge. I've not tracked food, but have been watching it. But going out with the girls on Friday night and drinking wasn't the best thing calorie wise for me. I didn't weigh in this morning but will first thing and post it. So I'll restart doing WW with ya'll. I got my points tracker, my food companion book. Heck I brought my workout folder and have 3 print outs of 1pt, 2pt and 3pt foods. I have been swimming and doing workouts as in laps, upper and lower body stuff and doing ab workouts with the noodle.
Oh Melissa I met a girl up at the bar(yeah we were drinking and talking about working out, lol) who is having a hula hoop workshop at the gym she goes to. I'm going to go to it on 1 Aug and check it out.
Well I'm going to go read and then hit the hay! I hope everyone is doing well!!
Oh, last night we went and saw The Dark Knight. Awesome movie, I miss Heath, what an incredible actor. And I didn't have anything but a water. Talk to ya'll in the morning!
