I officially believe my scale is out to get me. TODAY it's trying to tell me that I lost 2.4 lbs since I took my weight yesterday. HUH?

I know I shouldn't obsess over the scale, since everyone does have their ups and downs, but I didn't know that we fluxuated that much.
So when do you fine ladies update your status bars to reflect what the scale is saying? Once a week? Once a day? NEVER?
I think I just want to actually see
progress.
Another sunny, but cool, day here in Eastern Canada. The frost is burning off the ground at the moment which has blaneted us in a THICK fog. That should be gone in the next couple of hours. Probably go for a walk with my mom after the DW heads into work. (Karen has the right idea - the fall colors are beautiful at the moment so why pass them up.)

Thanks to everyone for the continued
welcomes.

You guys are such a great, welcoming bunch!
Darcy: Not to even SUGGEST this, having experienced it myself, but do you think it could be a kidney stone? They're AWFUL.

You're seeing a doctor so you're doing everything you can be doing. My thoughts are with you and I'll be sure to send good vibes in your direction.

Molly: When planning something "away", it doesn't have to be anything elaborate either. Take him for dinner and a movie and then work your way up to a romantic weekend away. And make sure there's no 'special occasion' either. Sometimes the best surprises are the ones with no reason attached.
Or maybe I'm just a closet romantic.
Bonnie Jean: You know, your comment about being the "trip planner" made me think. Perhaps instead of type casting roles (i.e. it's always hubby who plans the trips, so maybe wifie should try it once and a while) MAYBE it's better said that the spouse who normally doesn't make the plans should make a "surprise" plan for the other. Yeah, that's probably better.
Stevi: Oh you!

You certainly know how to start MY day on the right foot.

When I saw a nutricianist some 6 (

) years ago, she set my goal weight at 180 lbs for my height, so that's what I've always set. Of course, if you look at all the charts and hoo hah that's online, they place the TOP of my "ideal weight range" at around 175lbs... I figured that if I
ever get to the 180 lbs range, I'll assess things at that point and go from there. I don't think that I'll be overly concerned about that any time soon.
Christi: Don't starve yourself, hun! I don't know how the WW point system works, but I just can't see feeling hungry as being a good thing.
Well, better get some mint tea into me -- try and shake this scratchy throat before the weekend -- and get this day started. Have a great day folks!
