I have nothing to hide but I like a feeling of privacy. I love my DF very much but really he has no reason to read my e-mail. I also have no reason to read his.

I'm 40. My DH's ex-wife left him for people she met on line, so I think he was reading mine, checking cookies, etc when we first met, but once he realized how boring I am (I really only go here, Foxnews and the Weather Channel and Matthew McConaughey's websites...big whip!), I think he decided to trust me and not waste his time checkign on me. He can tell from the spammish e-mails I get, also, ...Talking Crochet...Greatest Vitamins in the World...FNC Breaking News...where I go when I'm on line. I don't even get viagra ads.

I am 33. I read his and he reads mine. His extended family emails their updates and letters to his addy, so if I never read it I would be totally out of the loop. My emails are mostly work related, breastfeeding, childbirth, etc. Sometimes he reads them. Doesn't bother me a bit.

Usually my 3FC posts are FAR more personal than any of my emails...cause I am anonymous here, maybe. I would be bothered if he read my stuff here. But I would get over it. : )

I am 26 and my husband could probably figure out my password if he wanted to but I have nothing to hide so he can look if he wants. I am pretty boring to.

I am 52 ~ Angie usually doesn't come to 3FC but when she does she just uses my signature ~ nothing here for me to hide, everyone in my family knows I come here because I share the "family" computer in the kitchen nook.

Angie does have her own computer in the office, I never use it, have never looked at her e-mail, could care less. She can get to my e-mail anytime she wants to...but not much there but when I am out of town for a week or so I have her get my e-mails and clean out the spam.

I do get e-mails from time to time from old girlfriends but no one is Hotter (for me) than my wife and she knows that! Plus, she is not the jealous type...NO MATTER how much I try to get her to be...she "owns" me

I agree with some of the other posters, he can read my E-mails, they are nothing but junk anyway. But, I wouldn't want him to come to 3FC's and read my posts, some of them are personal and even worse some are about his kids which would cause problems. He watches me weigh, so I wouldn't care if he saw that.

I admit... I used to check my boyfriends emails.

My exboyfriend cheated on me with someone he met online, so I was checking up on new boyfriend.

He caught me a couple times, and was genuinely hurt that I didn't trust him. He said he had nothing to hide, and that if I felt the need to check his email, I could.

I don't check his account anymore, and he never checks mine. There's really no reason too.

Yup, we only have one email account and I'm always signed in here. He could read my posts here any time.

My husband has complete access to my e-mail account and to all my online accounts, in fact. I doubt he reads them. He has other things to do with his time. I have nothing to hide; I try to make it a point to say nothing I'd be ashamed to have another find out.

Oh I guess I should have said we're both 46 and have been married for over 27 years.

I'm 24 and we've been living together for 2 1/2 years. We have a shared e-mail account for family stuff and for things we purchase online (e-bay, amazon, etc), and we both have our own e-mail accounts. He's never asked for the password, and I've never offered - I like to have a bit of privacy. I'm sure he could figure it out if he wanted to, but I don't think he ever would - just as I wouldn't read mine even if I knew the password. It's important to both of us to have stuff outside of our relationship.
On a side note, I do have the password ot my best friend's e-mail, since she's had me check it for her when she's been away from computers for a few weeks, but I've never checked it unless she's on the phone asking me to.

I'm 41 and hubby's 51. We both have access to one another's computers and passwords. We even post on a few of the same boards and read some of our posts back and forth...bouncing ideas off of one another. But we don't go snooping into each others' personal stuff just to be snooping. No need to when there's trust.

LOL Hubby and I both hit a lot of free download sites, which create that kind of spam. We joke about how I get the "enlarge your penis" spam and he gets the "enlarge your breasts", so we just trade spam emails.

I like to send my husband little email surprises, and when I do I check his email to see if it got there. I have read some of the emails he's received from family and friends, but don't go snooping to check up on him. Likewise, he will go into my email and check for emails from his mother (she can never remember his email address and always sends family news to me, and sometimes I forget to give them to him. I'm also terrible about cleaning out the SPAM, so he will sometimes clean my inbox for me.

We're very open about everything though, and except for birthday and holiday time, we'll even open mail addressed to each other (even we draw the line at giving a person the courtesy to open their own birthday card).

We pretty much share everything, and couldn't keep a secret from each other if our lives depended on it (It's why we do all our holiday shopping for each other at the last minute, otherwise we end up giving the gift early).
