Hey friends! Hope all is going well your way! I'm having a much better week. Thanks to those to sent me good thoughts after my less-than-steller weekend. Sometimes it's hard for me to NOT let my family get the best of me, and this past weekend, I let that happen. My fault, I know.
Hubby and I went to a Chinese buffet for dinner last night. I couldn't believe it but I did really well. Had a salad with a bit of cheese (I'm liking Phase 2!), 2 egg white 1/2's, what i was told was lite ranch dressing, but didn't take more than a tablespoon, just to be sure, and a huge tomato slice and some grapes. Was quite nummy! Egg drop soup and crablegs (those suckers take FOR EVER to crack!!) to follow, then had some broccoli out of the chicken and broccoli and
was full. That was NOT like me at all. I'm usually a 2-3 trip person, plus a swing by the ice-milk machine. And it wasn't the "full" like I-can't-believe-I-ate-that-much-full, it was more like I'm-done-full. About 3 hours later, 9:00'ish, I had my evening snack (those delicious oatmeal/banana cookies) and I was satisifed.
I tell you, this is a whole new way of eating for me. I no longer eat until the "points" are gone (for you WW folks), I eat until by body tells me to stop. Hmmm...Listening to your body...What a concept. And it took me only 30+ years to figure it out!!!
