If not having a scale and staying on track works for you, way to go.
I've been working on breaking the habit of weighing every day and I think I've done it. It affects my mood too much. I'll weigh in tomorrow.
My former Weight Watchers instructor told me that I was weighing too much if I was weighing everyday and paying too much attention to the numbers on the scale.

She had told another member who was struggling with losing weight and weighing every day to bring her scale in and let her keep it. She did and immediately lost the weight that she had struggled to lose.
It's different for each person. Some people do better weighing everyday, some once a week as I try to do and some not as often as that. Whatever works for you!
Hope your foot feels a lot better. Right now I'm alternating between Richard Simmons Dance Your Pants Off

and Walk Away The Pounds.
My plan for the day:
B Oatmeal,FFMilk,Eggbeater,Orange Juice,Decaf Coffee with Non-dairy
and Splenda
L Salad with 2 oz. lean turkey, FF Milk, 2 sl. Light Wheat Bread, Non-
fat spread, sugar-free strawberry preserves
S 1 Apple
D 3 oz. lean beef, seasoned rice, green beans
S 94% Fat-free popcorn or pretzels
And not to forget my 96 oz. of water for the day
