Oh, I start right out with it. I lower my voice to a conspiratorial tone, look one way then the other, and preface it by saying it's this great new program that only the most exclusive folks can do.
Then once I get them all intrigued, I grin and say "Eat less and move more" and we laugh. But I get my point across.
Then, if I'm nice about it, I give them more detail -- eating more veg and fruit, cutting back on sugar and refined flour, counting calories, eating more often but smaller portions, focusing my meals/snacks around protein, walking or working out three times a week at least, drinking lots of water.
I'm sure I"ll get sick of it sooner or later. For now I'm pretty excited about it, so I don't mind.
