For me, my measurements and fat measurement is the main thing I work by, and the numbers on the scale I just use for convenience. And that all important clothesemeter. I get the biggest buzz from putting on my black jeans that were skin tight at the beginning of the year, and now I can put both arms by my sides and pull my jeans to my elbows and they still slide down!!!! Whenever I am feeling a bit down about how long things are taking I do this, and realise just how far I have come!

I am 5 foot 2 and my initial goal weight was 135. I've made it there and I THINK I'd like to lose another 10-15 pounds. However, as important as the number on the scale is to me (like Beverly it is just ingrained at this point) my real focus is my shape and size. I am actually quite comfortable at this weight and believe I will be able to easily maintain it. So, for now, I'm concentrating less on the scale and more on clothing size, tone, etc. I do expect that I will reach a point at which the 10-15 pounds will be put back on the front burner. To be honest, my focus has changed several times over the course of 10 months. IMO, it almost has to.
