I did bike Saturday for ... 11 in a row I think. I'll have to read back.
My daughter's home so we're going for a walk soon. I squeeze a little biking in later. But for now, I'll just post quick and be off.
I did squeeze in five miles on my bke yesterday for 12 in a row. Today will be no problem for 13. It's a lovely day again. Then I'll be so close to true, regular cardio!!! Quite an acheivement for me. 14 days in a row.
3 in a row here, although, I have had a house full of sickys and only did half of my walk instead of the normal 1 mile, it was only 1/2 a mile, I hope that counts, being we were so sick... LOL
Last night I took a hip-hop funk aerobics class at the gym. I also did 13 minutes on the elliptical while waiting for the class to start.
Editing to make that 10 in a row! I managed to get to the gym during lunch and did 30 minutes on the elliptical. I either need to take tomorrow off, or do something with zero impact because my knees are killing me.
Wow, you folks are really movin' it! I borrowed a Leslie Sansone tape from my friend to see what it was all about but I haven't had a chance to look yet. They're very popular. I'm intrigued by the Curves idea too. I wonder if a friend of mine could take a friend with her once so that I could have a wee look around?
After a bit of thinking .... I think I'm gonna try a combination of things. I have been spending a good amount of time on my bike and I really enjoy it. But I haven't been doing much resistance stuff. So if I've managed to fit in over an hour of biking often enough .... I'm just going to split the time.
We're going on a wee vaction starting next Wednesday evening so ... for 8 days in a row, I'm going to do some combination of biking and resistance for over and hour.
Day one is done. I biked to the store (11.6 kms) and I did legs this morning.
Edited because I missed something Fishwoman said .... elliptical machines are supposed to be easier on the knees, but my daughter doesn't like them either. She says biking is much easier on her knees.
