  • LOL Jill and Laura!

I think living in "sin" is a great way to go...I didn't know it was still really thought of in that way by some people!
Coming from someone who got married at 18...living in sin...a very reasonable choice

It's so nice to see all the pics...I guess I'll have to try to figure out how to get one up here too. It's wonderful to see all your gorgeous faces!

    xoxo

  • Third time's a charm ~ hopefully....
I am on my 3rd try to make this post ~ computer is doing funky stuff this afternoon.

Thank you Jen for starting this thread. It is so much fun to get to put a face with the name, and to get to see pics of the children, families and pets you all speak of.

I wish I knew how to get a picture on here. The only time I have ever had one of my group on here, Sandy (Jacobsmommy) did it for me. It is on thread "Post for Glynne" (I will bump it up) if anyone wants to see it. I don't think many people saw it before. If anyone among us is a computer wiz, maybe they could post a link to that thread, or make the picture get on this thread.

It makes me laugh because the people at work think I am such a computer wiz, and are always coming to me for help. I know enough to get by. There is so much I don't know how to do and wish I did.
  • Darn, I did it again ~ had a nice post made about the pictures you all have posted, and I hit the wrong button and lost it. I give up.

    Nice pictures everyone.
  • Jill Such a beautiful family. Y'all are lovely.

    Gretchen I love the nursery.

Laura You have a beautiful family.

I never can get my pics to upload using the manage attachments. I use www.photobucket.com and upload them there. Then you can type [img] web address of pic here [ /img]. You just have to make sure to take out all the extra spaces.

Here's a pic of the kids on the 4-wheeler. I call it my redneck kids since they both have just diapers/panties on.
  • Oh I love all the pics!!! It's so nice to see everyone, and your kids. I don't have anything to share at the moment I'll have to get some pics taken over the weekend.

We live in sin, have been for over 3 years, we'll get around to marrying, but not until I can fit into a white dress without looking like a White Whale!!!!
  • Here goes....
First pic is of my boyfriend (finace?) and me at a football (soccer match) in Northwestern England, second pic is of us by the lake, and third one is us at a recent wedding. (Thanks for the photohelp Laura!)

Same here! Best thing is, when we do get married I will have my daughters as bridesmaids. AWWW!
I have my dress picked out too, with the option of changing my mind when the time comes...
For anyone curious, here's the dress.
DH, plans to wear a kilt. I am totally for that but the funny thing is an authentic kilt will cost more than my dress! Isn't that a refersal of the usual situation where the dress costs more than the tux. Anyway, I'll stop babbling now.

  • Gorgeous dress!

    About the kilt, try here:

    For real men!
  • Jen, about the begging thing. It's so true. Hehehe. It's great to see you and your hubby looking so happy- and what a cute kitty! You look great.

Dawnyal, thanks for sharing the pic! Were you in Relay for Life?

Jill, the step-brats are real cutie pies. How old are they? I remember seeing the wedding pic- your daughter looks so much like you, really. You both look beautiful on the big day. Do you get to see her often?

Shelia, do your sons know you're advertising for them on the internet? heheheh, just kidding. I could look at pictures of happy families like yours for hours. Maybe I'll do a google image search or something. It just makes me so darn giddy. How old is your sweet granddaughter?

Gretchen, that's funny that you posted pics beacuse I was going to ask if you've planned the nursery yet. It looks so great. I bet you and your hubby are sooo excited. I can't wait to see pics of Carson. And your furchildren are precious- 3 doggies, wow. Lucky you!

Laura, thanks for sharing the pics of your family. And thanks for the pic of you too- it's so nice to be able to put a face to the name. When are you going to share pics from the competition? And hey, the kilt idea is a great one. I love the dress too.

Jen, aww, a happy couple! You look like you're really great together.
  • Here are a few pictures of my husband and I from our wedding day. (obviously!) They were taken May 22, 2004.

Those are beautiful pics! What a gorgeous bride!
  • Oh, this thread is the BEST! I love looking at other peoples' photos, always have. Here's a few from me:

Clockwise from right: Sarah, Buddy (no longer have him), and Emma.

One of my favorite spots when it's not too hot and muggy. I call this my "branch office" because it's beneath the fir trees over our patio.

  • Those are lovely photos, Gardenwife! I wish I were as handy with a camera so my photos would turn out as nice.
  • This is one of my favorites of my dog. My dad had let her outside accidentally the morning that everyone set their trash out. Our dog got outside the gate and when she came back, she had this piece of pizza in her mouth but the triangle end of it was in her mouth when we first saw her. It was hilarious, my dad went back in the house, got the camera and this was the pic we got:

  • What a picture, and what a story!
