I've had Kashi puffed, and I liked it. Of course, I piled on the fruit and Splenda, but I thought it had a nice crunchy, chewy texture - better than plain puffed wheat. My mom hated it though, so I guess it's a personal taste thing. As far as the other Kashi cereals, I have no idea. I'm allergic to soy protein, so anything that has "good for you soy!!!" in it, I have to avoid. Not "good for" me.
Vickie, have you ever tried Butter Buds or Molly McButter on your farina? Then you wouldn't have to count points for the Smart Balance, but you could still get that buttery flavor. Just a thought.
I eat Malt o Meal almost every day - if not that, then I have hot oat bran cereal (very similar to farina), coco wheats, puffed wheat or shredded wheat. I always add fruit, because that gives me a fruit serving.
