  • Quote: Lynnie, I am sorry but can you tell me what the CPAP is? I am glad it is helping. I am trying to figure out how to use my Flexpoints. Hang in there. We can do it!
A CPAP is a machine I wear at nice that forces air into my nose and down the back of my throat.I use it cause I stop breathing in my sleep and have what is called apneas. When I stop breathing I wake myself unconsciously to start breathing again. This can also cause death and brain damage. The oxygen level to my brain also becomes very low.
It is taking a while to get use to because you become very accustomed to not having such an apparatus doing such a thing at night. Its like when someone gets oxygen if that helps with a visual.

Today I got up and did nothing.I relaxed up until 2:00pm then I exercised with Dh's help that is.He counted while I did krunches and leglifts.

Hope everything is going ok for yall

    *hugs*

I will let ya'll know something when I know something.

  • Hi there. I'm a new registered user. I'm 36 and just had my first baby (a little boy) and he was a preemie and they nearly lost me so I've been put to task to lose weight and get my health issues under control. One of them is Bipolar and after the birth I did start suffering from PPD so I started a small amount of Effexor. Lately the depression has become stronger so I probably need to go back to my pdoc and get it increased. It has also been affecting my motivation in weight loss. I wanted to say hi to everyone and hope you're doing well.
  • Hello Ladies
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. The visit with our son went well. He cut his hair, thank God (he looked like Johnny Damon from the Red Sox ). He's gotten awfully thin-the food isn't the greatest. It was great to see him, but it's hard when he's behind a glass partition and you want to hug him and you can't . He's still waiting for a trial date, and hoping he'll hear about what the future will bring. Please keep him in prayer. His name is Matthew, which I keep reminding him, means A gift from the LORD

Cathy: Thanks for passing on the word about CIN's husband. I'll surely be praying for them both.

Liz: Just keep thinking warm thoughts!

Marble: Taxes! I'm going to be doing my own this year (with some help from the computer ) but getting the stuff together is a pain! Good luck with yours.

Kathy: You went on a shopping trip with your DD, AND stayed within your points for the day-WTG!

Eulac: Welcome to our thread! Your baby is a cutie . I have a good friend who suffers from BiPolar Disorder. She does well on medication, but a lot of the meds have the side effect of increased appetite/weight gain. She's able to keep her weight under control with careful eating and exercise. Please keep coming back and sharing with us!

    Hope everyone's weekend was great
