We got about 12 inches of snow. Officially, it wasn't that much, but I could tell by my patio table outside the window. It's protected from the wind and the snow just falls on top of it like a layer of icing on a cake.
DH got the snowblower working (first time in 15 years it's worked right) and it still took him 3 hours to clear out the driveway.
Anne, when I took my computer in, it all depended on what they had to do to it and how many others were ahead of mine. The last time, it only took a week to get my computer back. I know how you feel, I'm really lost if I don't have mine. If nothing else, most of my recipes are stored in Word now, so it's how I do a lot of my cooking. I printed off a bunch of them, then put them in a book and now, I can't find the book. Typical.
Hang in there, Anne, the weeks almost done and hopefully, you'll have some good days off.
