for
Ruth and her peckers and
RNMom and her Whine and Cheese party.
I'd love to join it with you next time, RN, okay?
So sorry I can't type to everyone today...but I did read all the posts and am sending out hugs of welcome and prayers of hope for a better day tomorrow for those who need them!
Sil, so good to see you back, and glad the mamaogram went well! It looks like when you copied the items in the box, you didn't get the last two. HTML codes need a code to turn them on (like [img] ) and a code to turn them off, which is the same as the first, but with a / sign. It looks like you are missing the img and url off codes... You might click at the beginning of the box, then hold down the shift key while using the right arrow until you get to the very, very end of the box. Then copy and paste that. And Ellis is right, Suzanne is working on something for 3FC, so if you want to wait for that, that's fine!
Anchor, I know how you feel. Some days I just need something different or fun. I enjoy the Wolfgang Puck Lattes...they are disgustingly expensive ($5.79 for four little bottles at my store!

), but they are really tasty and a fun treat for once in a while. But in general, the best way to get rid of boredom is the try new things, and if you are eating rotisserie chicken every night (which actually has a decent amount of fat from the skin, so isn't the best choice for every single day), you might want to change it up a little!

Try the recipes at
www.cookinglight.com --most are very easy to adapt to SBD, and are really tasty and different! You have to register to see the recipes, but they are free and worth the time, trust me! The magazine is awesome too!
Ruth, I think DH is upset not over Lucy's reticient nature, but because he knows Ted has been feeling you up!

Seriously, enjoy tonight, but not too much.

I'm glad Ted is finally back on the job for real. And I'm not kidding...I demand pics of you and your gorgeous 60's gams!
laurlaur, I heard those bike seats really hurt...how long does it take to get over it?
A broad, thanks! I actually have only been on one flight where you
didn't have to pay for earphones. That time they let us keep the earphones, so I just bring those everywhere I go. But thanks for the tip!
Me:
Our secretary took a well deserved day off and so I got stuck with the big project. No worries...just lots of work. I suppose I ought to do that sometime.
Weight was a pound up today after two days at a new low. I wonder if this is what it's going to be like from now on? If so, I may go to a weekly weigh in.

It's just depressing when it goes up and I know know that it might go way down the very next day in spite of anything I'm doing. Can't think of anything I did wrong yesterday except that my bottle of dressing burped out a wave of dressing yesterday at lunch. I scooped off a lot of it with a spinach leaf, but I might still have had more than a serving.
I have tons of homework to do this weekend so I will have no guilt on the Europe trip. This morning I finally started to get excited!

I'm looking forward to checking things out and preparing a plan for what to do when we are there. I'll do a little shopping for some last minute things this weekend and pack in my new, bright
red suitcase next week.
BTW, I've been reading a book I indulged in a couple months ago:
If You're Going To Eat At The Refrigerator, Pull Up A Chair by Geneen Roth. It's FABULOUS!!! As long as I'm not infringing on a copyright, I'd love to share one of the essays (3-4 paperback pages long) with you guys...but it's at home, so maybe next week. If you haven't read anything by her, I highly recommend at least this book. In fact, I think someone in Alternachicks recomended her as an author, so thank you to whomever that was!
Have a wonderful weekend, chickies!
