Hello and well met everyone!! I have been stopping by this message board every now and then and reading the posts, and finally decided that I was ready to jump in and "take the plunge"=) Everyone seems so helpful and I really need the support! Hopefully I can contribute something as well. I put my info on the bio page and zipped over here to read and start posting.
Lucky ~ Sorry to hear about someone stealing your dad's water cooler. I can understand how you feel...someone stealing from you makes you feel so "violated", no matter what the item is. About 15 years ago, I was working as Asst Mgr at a Hardees in NC and one of our former Asst Mgrs who had been fired snuck into the office (before locks could be changed) and stole all the cash and ran off. One of our employees saw him leave my office and yelled at me and I gave chase for awhile, but decided not to get too far from the store since I was the only Mgr on duty. They finally caught him, but I was shaken up about that for a long time and it still makes me angry when I think about it
~My fav Slimfast is Chocolate Malt; give it a try=) Just make sure you only use it to replace one or two meals a day at the most. My girlfriend's husband was using it to replace 2-3 meals a day for a few months and was losing weight really well, BUT he ended up getting *um*, really constipated and ended up having to go to the emergency room to get flushed out and when he went to his regular doctor to find out what was going on, the doc told him Slimfast was the culprit because he was taking too much and not getting enough other nutrients and solid food.
big_loser ~ What a pleasant dream! Sure hope we cannot gain weight in our sleep

hehe I had a dream the other night about being chased by a Bengal Tiger. I interpreted it to mean that I had something that I naturally adored chasing me...that which we love can sometimes be unhealthy for us and I likened it in that way to the fascination and satisfaction I gain from eating and how it seems to always be right on my heels, and my behind. *eeps*
Terri ~ 8.5 miles biking! That is amazing! I really admire that you can do that. My husband is an avid mountain biker and he really would love me to go out with him on the trails, but I have to lose weight and gain a lot of stamina if I want to even think of keeping up with him. I truly want to put that on my long range goals because I used to love biking
BarbPA ~ Keep the dreams alive!! I went through In-Vitro fertilization and managed to get pregnant, but ended up losing the baby and decided not to try again and be happy that we have one healthy son, now a young man. My girlfriend went through what you are going through, though, and I am happy to say that she and her husband are the proud parents of 6-yr-old twin girls now, so it can and will happen for you, I am sure! Just hang in there, and someday, all you went through will seem like nothing compared to the joy you have when you hug your child
Syn ~ WTG on below 300!! When times get tough and things in your life get you down, that can be your "happy thought" to make you smile and feel oh so strong *woo*
Thin ~ What a great "circle of life" wedding story! Their wedding must have been both fun and memorable...can't go wrong there! Also...thanks for a great place to come and share!
Have a great day everyone...off to give as long as I can to the treadmill and then do some gardening before the t-storms hit.
