  • Pardon My Barging In...
    I'm new to the forums and I'm not sure if it's okay to simply plunge into an exercise challenge.

    If possible, I'd love to join. I need SOME kind of motivation!
    (Hmmm...I see that everyone has listed several days per entry... It's possible to go in and modify a prior entry?)

    ANYhoo, here I go. Let me know if I'm interrupting an established group and I'll go sulking off in a corner.

    June 1 - Failed miserably
    June 2 - 25 min walk
    June 3 - 20 min walk
    June 4 - 25 min walk
    June 5 - 25 min walk
    June 6 - 20 min walk
    June 7 - 50 min (20 s/bike, 20 walk, 10 weights & stretching)
    June 8 - 30 min (20 assorted aerobics, 10 weights)
    June 9 - 25 min s/bike
    June 10 - 50 min (s/bike, rower, walk)
    June 11 - 40 min walk (2+ miles)
    June 12 - 30 min Pilates (or a sad facsimile thereof...)
    June 13 - 30 min weight machines
    June 14 - 60 min (combo walk/bike/row/weight machines)

    June 1 -resting, muscles were hurting from may 31st work out. lol
    June 2 -ditto!
    June 3 -45 min strength training class, 30 min cardio
    June 4 -nothing unless you count sprinting to catch the GO train (whole length of a parking lot plus half the platform! lol!)
    June 5 -60 min cardio (elliptical etc)
    June 6 -rest
    June 7 -60 min tae bo type class

  • Hi, all!

    I've been meaning to post here and keep forgetting! I hope I can remember what I have been doing...

    June 1: 12 min. walk with dog
    June 2: 24 mins. elliptical, 18 mins. leg weight machines, 8 min. walk with dog.
    June 3: 10 min. walk with dog, 24 min. walk with husband and dog (up and down a hill)
    June 4: Did not go to gym. 8 min. walk with dog, up two flights of stairs at mall. (does that count? )
    June 5: Easy walk around gardening center (9-10 mins.)
    June 6: 1.5 hours of gardening, lugging plants, planting plants, dragging and lifting hose around, carrying plants and lifting windows to car and out, 1/2 hour walking at grocery store, then carrying groceries in.
    June 7: 28 mins. on elliptical, 13 mins. of arm weights
