Morning Chickies!
Still raining here....but that's ok. The kids and I have been vegging together. DD #2 has been dying to see the Lizzie McGuire movie....I've resisted cuz it's a teeny-bopper movie and she's only 8! But she's a "mature" 8

So, we got that...and it actually wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. I also rented the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, which I've wanted to see forever but just CAN'T rent it when dh is watching too. Boy, I cried just about all the way through that one! Then I watched some LAME-O middle eastern themed movie called "Intimate Power". I knew it was gonna be a crap plot, but hoped that it would give me some costume ideas. Nope! It was all nylon chiffon and gold lame and cheapie Indian coin belts. I could have done a better costuming job with what's in my CLOSET right now!
Let's see, I've also got a Johnny Depp movie called "The Man Who Cried" (probably wait until dh gets back to watch that one. I get all hot and bothered watching J. D.......so why do that to myself when I'm alone????) And I rented "Showgirls"....again for the costumes. And one more, what was it? Oh yeah, "Girl With the Pearl Earring" about the painting of the same name. It looked really interesting, and won a bunch of awards. So, I guess I'm set for a while.
I had 3 points yesterday. No exercise. Going right out to the garage to remedy that when I get done here. On the plus side, I've lost the "stress pounds" from the last month and am down to 205. So, I'm moving in the right direction. I talked to my mom last night and she is doing so awesome! She is below 200 for the first time since I was born (I think)! And she actually said she was starting to like her body again!! I'm so proud of her

She's having extra skin issues, though. I told her to come here and read some of the stuff on the surgery forum. She's had her knees replaced and goes in tomorrow for back surgery......so another one is not appealing to her. But I think she may feel differently when she is 140 and saggy all over.

I'm hoping I'll escape that problem

because I'm fairly young and because even though I was very overweight, I still had tons of muscle from the fighting and dancing. We'll see.
Amanda---Don't give up sweetie!! The menu plans will really help you. You can do this, I know you can.
MsCat--Thanks for the websites. I checked them out and they are great. Unfortunately, I do alot of cooking and I make up my own recipes so it's hard to count points out of a book or off a website. It's easier to just add up calories, so that's what I'll do.
Silly Poll---lately I've been overdosing on the pesto sauce. It's not bad for you, but there's alot of olive oil in it. And of course, you gotta have lotsa pasta to put it on!
Well, gotta go......
Have a great Sunday everyone.
