I'm attaching a picture of my new kitten....

My kitten is SUCH a crazy animal! She's so demanding..she's been mewing all morning for more food but she isn't going to get any until later! She'll inhale a huge bowl of food, then jump onto the back of my chair and bat my shoulders with her paws. In case any of you want to know, I got a nine month old "kitten" a few weeks ago. Her name is Lady Sassafras, but lately we've just been calling her 'fat cat' . She's doubled clawed on all her paws, and on her left back foot, she has SEVEN toes. I always wanted to get a cat with a personality...boy did I

She's also too fat to curl up like a normal cat (i think)..so she lays on her back with her feet extending into four quadrants.

I had to use my pocket pc's cam because i lost the software to my web cam..so the camera isn't the best quality :/

Hello ladies!

Its just about nap time.

DH went with me to the 8 am WW meeting. There was a huge crowd and he was a little overwhelmed. More so when he stepped on the scale. He's gained 40 pounds since he quit smoking almost 4 years ago. I pointed out - it could be worse. He sat through the meeting and looked like he was even listening. I was up 3 pounds btw. I wasn't happy but I'm not surprised given what we've been eating and how swollen my hands are today. I promised that I will make a big cheat sheet to hang on the fridge. We've agreed to go to WI every other Saturday and to put away the home scale.

We didn't have time for him to sit through orientation as we had to get to the boat dealership and get the boat. We brought it home for the neighbors to oooh and aaah. Then we learned how to put the cover on in the wind and hauled it off to the storage place. We'll be anxious for a warm, calm day.

I'm going to read a bit and have a nap. Then it will be time to get up and get this house put back together. Its nice today buts its a windy day so it makes it feel much cooler.

Anyone taking Crestor for cholesterol? DH's doctor changed him from Lipitor to Crestor. We were out with DH's cousins and one pulled out an article about how Crestor has caused deaths and/or kidney damage even at low-dosages. I told DH that he's not taking one more pill and he can tell his doc on Tuesday that no way, no how is he continuing to take it. He thinks the doc won't like that but I don't care. Would the doc prefer to have a big lawsuit slapped on him? All the more reason for DH to get his health improved.

Hey Chickadees!
Happy Saturday! It's been a nice day so far. I am feeling much better today and DH is still penguin walking around, but feeling ok. I had to take my little Charlee to the vet for shots! She did ok, but was so squirmy I couldn't hold her - I was scared of hurting her so I had the assistant hold her. Then we went to PetSmart and stocked up on some needed supplies. Then I came home to clean this filthy house. I just spent 3 hours vacuuming and dusting, doing counters and whatnot! And that wasn't all of it. Luckily one night this week I did the upstairs bathrooms. Phew - how can two people and 3 dogs make such a mess - actually, I know how --- 3 dogs!!! It's mostly dog hair. Anyway, it's spick and span now!!!! I wish I could find a good reliable person to clean for me a couple times a month. Last year I used a chain company that had reasonable prices but stole $ from me. Yesterday I called another place and they want $154 every two weeks! Yikes!!! So, I guess I will continue cramming the cleaning somewhere in my schedule. Sorry, didn't mean for that to turn into a cleaning rant!

2cute - No, I didn't see the special on the sextuplets - although I would have loved it. Don't worry - no chance of me having that many. Since we are doing IVF the Dr. will only transfer 2 embryos. Chances of more than one are slim, actually chances of 1 are only about 40%, but we are hopeful. There was a recent story of one woman having 4 --- transfered 2 embryos and each split into identical twins! Yikes!

Thin - Oh, I am so happy that you and Susie had such a nice time! Remind me why she isn't around anymore - computer problems? That dessert sounded heavenly (both of them)!

HI guys.. I can't see any kittys. Just a black box on my screen.

I just stopped in for a minute to read. I still have my grandbabies. We went to a bunch of garage sales this morning. I bought me a small school desk that I have wanted for a long time. I have a medium size one... but I wanted the small one... and finally found one today at a church garage sale.

I can't stay... the girls are wanting my attention. I just had to sneak a peek.

Hey..can't stay too long...it's been a good day for food....I always lose my appetite when i'm having relationship trouble. my boyfriend of two years says that he wants to see other people for a while. it's rather upsetting...

irying to recover from a all niter at the casino ....only good thing i forget to eat. that is the only thing that can do that! being diabetic is not good my blood sugar really falls. yesterday was beautiful here and today cold and windy.
miss meliss= love your cat. i really miss mine .he had leukemia hopefully will get another.

Hi everyone! Just checking in as a batch of my auctions end. I was out at the theatre today being a "showgirl". Honey didn't want to stay and see a movie, said we had too much to do. Said we could tomorrow, 'cept it's race day and he won't be there with me. I have the urge to bail on the theatre (too bad I can't) and go shopping! I haven't been shopping (other than my "special" kind ) in such a long time!

Lucky: I'm not the only one that's busy. Look at you going into raking, mowing and gardening season. Whew, you wear me out! * I agree, this does look more like sleeping.

Barbg: I'm with you, I have to buy bigger bottoms, but I end up buying bigger than I need tops so they'll fit over my bottom. At least if you're built the opposite way, your tops drape nice from your shoulders. With me, they're hanging off the shoulders, just to accomodate the hips.

Katrina: GREAT story. I had heard it before, but it's just what I needed NOW!!!

Terri: Glad hubby made the commitment to go to WW with you. That will be a real PLUS to your program. I wish mine would just think about reading the literature.

Barb: Glad you're up and around and feeling better. Hope hubby is on the mend too. Boy, adds insult (getting cut on "down there") to injury (getting it infected), doesn't it? YIKES! Glad you are both doing better. CONGRATS on the biopsy results. That's wonderful!

Melissa: I'm so sorry to hear that about the boyfriend. But ya know, I'll tell ya a little story. Way back when (in ancient times ) when I was young and dating, my boyfriend said the same thing. "We're getting too serious." "I want to finish college." "I think it would be best if we dated other people." Well, ok, I thought (and yes, it hurt) but I figured fine, I'll make the best of it. Long story short (I know, too late) I dated other guys. He would drive by my house at night and I'd be sitting on the porch with someone else. He didn't like it. We got back together. We got MORE serious. He finished school. We got married. And it's now almost 28 years later. What's that saying, something like .....if you love something set it free. That's how you know it's true love. [[[hugs]]]
