.... I personally find it more balanced... you eat 5-6 meals/day every 2-3 hours... with a portion of lean protein (usually 4-5 oz), portion of unprocessed carb (usually 1/2c. or small potatoe) and vegies at least twice/day, at every meal... I find it keeps my insulin in check with no highs and lows that going more than 3 hours without food does to me... therefore I crave less of the bad unprocessed carbs... You also cut sugar and all white carbs out, except potatoes... You can usually get the book at the library, it's been around for a while now... It is also a lifestyle I can live with for the rest of my life... If you have more questions I'd be more than happy to answer them. Or come and join us at the "Ladies (and Gents) Who Lift" forum, most of us there follow something similarl to that...
Just thought I would put my 2 cents in- I am gifted with the ability to fall in love with another person, regardless of sex.
And I actually am sexually more attracted to women. *shrug*
