  • Hey there LOOOSERS...
Thanks BAMIEGURL, for the encouraging words!

    Everyone is doing so well!
I am so happy for you all! Have a Wonderful Week!

    Always,
    SunnyD
  • Week one has ended of Phase I and I'm down 4 pounds. I'll take it, I'll take anything

I did have alot of ham last week - wonder if that is the problem - too much water retention. Will eat less this week.

Just a note - ever 1/4 pound you lose is the equivalent of 1 stick of butter - so I lost 16 sticks of butter this week - wonder where it melted off me???? I'll wait to remeasure at the end of week 2.

    On to week 2 . . . . .
  • I officially hit 31 days on SBD today. I lost 1 pound this week, for a total of 9.25 pounds for this first month. No, that's not a lot, which gets a little depressing after I read everyone's great losses. I mean I really stick faithfully to the diet and I walk two miles 5 days a week. Oh well, I know it isn't a race. I need to keep remembering that I only have 10.75 pounds until I reach my goal!
  • This is my first weigh in on here today is day 26 on SBD, and I am exactly 10 pounds down. Great job everyone!...hope to hear from everyone next week.
  • Day17, down 17
Seems to be good, although I would have been happier to have sustained the rapid weight loss of the first week.

I"m only adding back one carb per day to start. I just feel so guilty eating the forbidden fruits.

Everyone is doing great!!! I'm so glad to be a part of this.

    Thank you all!

Tracy (I realized that I'm like the forth Tracy in here).

  • Hi gang I am late checking in today. I have stayed the same this week.
  • Sunday was the first day of my 2'nd wk on SBD and I was down 5 pounds...thrilled thrilled thrilled!!! Seemed to be stalled a bit right now but I know I can and will keep going. So totally amazed how all my gravings are gone and that I thourly (sp?) enjoyed my fish filet tonight. I never ever would have eaten that before and it was great. Brand is Gortons - Grilled Fillets> Ladies I want to congratulate you all on your losses. Thanks to 3fatchicks for providing us all this wonderful gathering place where we can share and support one another in our common pursuit.......healthy weight loss!
  • Initial Weigh In
Ok, 188 on Saturday morning. My scale is not reliable, but if it continues in the down direction, I know that I'm doing something right.
  • Congratulations to all of you losers!
  • I'm the same...220. Quite remarkable considering what I have been eating!
  • A day late, but...
Sorry ladies, yesterday was a BIG day for me, so I didn't make it in.

But, I lost SIX pounds this week. I am soooo thrilled, especially since the chemo really threw me off, I wasn't able to eat on the recommended schedule, so I ended up eating late at night a lot. And I still haven't felt up to exercise. I wish it wasn't so cold, at least I could make a brisk walk in the park- I AM up for that.

Congrats to all the losers and maintainers We rock the Beach.

See you over in Tuesday chat...
  • CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!!

Lisa, glad to see you back...I was wondering what happened to ya!

    Hello to everyone else
  • Congratulations everybody! You were all successful! Don't anybody be frustrated at not losing as much as you wanted. I have only lost 3 pounds for the whole month of January and I know the frustration, but looking back at the last years of my life I see now that I should have been happy with slow loss, because it beats no loss any day!

Keep up the great work, everybody. And if you get in a snacky mood, come here, don't give in!!!
